Optifine was removed because Technoc doesn't have permission from the mod author(no modpack does).

Try Tekkit Lite. Either that, or just not use Bukkit. It's not exactly compulsory use, it's just there for conveniance.

Just checked it out and bwillb's right, they just don't show up in NEI.

I've found both Nikolite and Tungsten. Try redownloading.

Don't drag and drop them, use the Technic Launcher's custom zip downloader in the Launcher Options. It's faster and saves you the problems you're having.

All of those error reports are ID conflicts. Just change them in the configs.

Core Mods? You don't want to put them there... Just put the download link in the Technic Launcher custom zip downloader thingy.

The problem is that there's no detail and barely any information at all. Andrew likes people to have paragraphs in their applications, not just a few words for each question.

Compare your application to the ones which are accepted. Notice any difference? Perhaps in the details and length of them?

Ok, I'll answer a few because I'm bored. Halo Inc. is a company(Which is in a war with quite a few other companies) Tekkit Lite is Tekkit for 1.4.7 and with no Bukkit, Classicd is Tekkit before(With Bukkit, 1.2.5 etc.) The Custom Packs thing is basically a way to instantly download a modpack into the launcher. For instance, you copy the download link for the modpack from the first post of this thread, open your Technic Launcher, select a custom modpack, open Options, and paste it into the Custom Zip slot. It's an awesome way to get a server pack without any effort. TC3 will only be included if the mod maker gives permission. He might at some point, but he's not giving many modpacks permission at the moment due to it being in Beta.

It's because MCEdit doesn't recognize the 4095 block ID fix, I think. Tekkit has more block IDs than McEdit knows exist.

Of course he doesn't deny it, people have seen it and it's still downloadable.

Railcraft was removed because the rules for permission changed. Forestry was removed when Technic didn't have permissions. They do have permissions now.

CovertJaguar withdrew Technics permission to use Railcraft.

My laptop was less that £600, and that runs most things pretty well. I've both hosted and played a Tekkit server on it at the same time before with very little lag. It's not exactly state-of-the-art anymore though, and it still surprises me that 6GB of RAM isn't much compared to what some people have... Nevertheless, running most games on High graphics is good enough for me.
