  1. Are you sure it's in recipe mode? NEI will only drop items if it spawns them in using cheat mode. Is this from the NEI menu on the side of your inventory or from your inventory itself?
  2. That's the wrong options button. Try the one in the bottom left of the screen in your inventory.
  3. When you ask for help, and someone tries to help you, you don't rage at them because of it. Seriously, what is your problem with what Ned told you? He's not being a jerk, he's trying to help. Go try it, instead of complaining. Your Java is outdated, and even if updating it is not the solution, Java 7 is by far a better version to have than Java 6. It's not going to hurt you, but deterring the people giving you solutions is.
  4. Yep. Everyone on the server needs the same version of Tekkit as the server. You could downgrade to Tekkit 3.1.2 on the server to avoid this, and it would be a lot more stable.
  5. Apply fix 1 and 2 in this thread. Fix 1 can be downloaded further down the page: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/3-1-3-reported-issues-and-possible-fixes.30863/
  6. Press options in your inventory, and press cheat mode to disable it.
  7. Did you delete the entire BuildcRaft folder or just the API?
  8. Post a bug report. Before you say "I can't post there" look closer. It's not in the normal place, but if you look closely the bug report button is there, and quite obvious at the top of the page.
  9. This thread is months old. Why would you post here to say something which isn't even true? Thaumcraft has never been in Tekkit. It's been SSP only for ages, and it's only SMP in Mc 1.4 +.
  10. Use a transformer to prevent the machines getting too much power.
  11. You could if you removed the thermal monitors from the Reactor first, I think.
  12. You could use a permissions plugin. I think the one called PermissionsEX is pretty good, but if anyone disagrees/has a better plugin to use please correct me. You need to change the config of it to make Default have the save-all command. I remember the plugin's page having a description of how to do this, so just have a look while you download it so you know what to do.
  13. Have you tried deleting it without decompressing the folder? I can't remember if that's how I did it right now, but it could be. Recompressing it seems to cause some sort of problem.
  14. Repost? What? This isn't like retweeting, perhaps you meant reply? The Tekkit team don't make the mods. Asking them to add limestone is pointless, unless you have a mod for it which is already made, in which case you want to go to the Mod Suggestion thread: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technic-pack-suggestions-ahoy.1053/ If it's not made already, go ask on the Minecraft Forums(In the proper place), or find another place where mod suggestions are accepted, and ask someone to make this for you, then suggest it in the Mod Suggestions Thread.
  15. Use fix 1 and 2 in this thread: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/3-1-3-reported-issues-and-possible-fixes.30863/ Fix one can be found for download at post 13, fix 2 is pretty simple. If you're interested, your problem is actually problem 2, but I reccommend doing both fixes so that you don't crash again, since both are extremely common bugs. In answer to your stability question, I think the way some of the most basic parts of Tekkit can be broken like that kind of shows the answer. It's pretty unstable, but those fixes can solve most of the problems. You may also want to temporarily ban Thermal Monitors(the fix for that one's not been released for download yet, but if you feel like trying it yourself it's fix 4 on that thread), and warn your players that the version of Ic2 in Tekkit 3.1.3 is incompatible with NEI, so recipes don't work.
  16. Try using fix 1 and 2 here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/3-1-3-reported-issues-and-possible-fixes.30863/ Fix one can be downloaded further down the page.
  17. I think I changed your post to a more accurate description there... I'm taking to just posting it in the first place to save the effort. It's not worth hoping people will notice some times.
  18. You post a bug report. http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/tekkit-bug-board.13/ Before you say "I don't have privileges to post there", look closer. You CAN post there, you just need to look in the right place, and it's fairly obvious if you're looking for it. Don't worry, you did better than most by providing an error log. Just remember to keep that in your bug report so we can look at it.
  19. I got it back in Beta 1.3, so I can relate to most of the things people say about "the good ol' days" when bugs were rampant and there were no booster rails etc.. I actually only got into modding at all around Minecraft 1.1, after my friend/server host/Tekkit guru linked me to a Tekkit video and told me that the server was going Tekkit(I had no choice in the matter, it was already Tekkit by the time I got on). Before that, the closest I ever got was MCEdit.
  20. They can mine Modded items. Did you transfer a vanilla world into a Tekkit one? It may be that you need to just go to a new and completely unexplored area of your map to find Tekkit ores.
  21. First fix here should work: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/3-1-3-reported-issues-and-possible-fixes.30863/ Try applying the first 2 so you don't run into them. The recompiled Ic2 code can be round further down the page. I'm not sure anyone's managed, or at least released, fix #3, so just try to ignore it/prevent through banning Thermal Monitors.
  22. Seems like it would be extremely simple with a bit of base-class modding of lava from what I hear, unless Forge already has a hook which could be used for this. If not, I'm pretty sure that you could mod the changes Forge made so you have a modified Forge class to make it compatible.
  23. 3.1.3 saves should be completely compatible with 3.1.2 servers, but I recommend making a backup before changing, just in case things go wrong. Always back up before changing versions.
  24. It's server side. Just remove the specified folder in the Railcraft mod and it works fine. I've tried it myself without changing anything client-side.
  25. You could cut out a lot of the first part, and use Pastebin(google it), then link to the pastebin.
