Try making a bug report, and remember to include the log.

Sorry, mistook LC for LWC. Yeah, looks like an incompatibility with LimitedCreative. Is there any way to make a player get ignored completely by LC? if so, do that for [Redpower].

Sorry, missed that. Looks like LWC is conflicting with Redpower. Try /op [Redpower], and if that doesn't work, test with LWC disabled/removed.

You could try running multiple instances on MultiMC.

You need to either switch to the development build of Tekkit, or downgrade the server to 3.1.2. If you don't want bugs/crashes etc., you want to go for 3.1.2, because 3.1.3 is pretty unstable. The download for the 3.1.2 server is in the previous versions downloads in the server section here.

Update to what? The idea of 3.1.3 is that all the mods are updated as high as they can go for Minecraft 1.2.5.

Have you tried /op [buildcraft]?

Make a bug report. Or you could try looking through the Tekkit Bug Board for a few minutes and find a post with the same error as your server, because they'll probably have the fix already.

It's startup isn't it? Do both start and startup work now?

It looks awesome... And as a side note, can we quote something from this thread when mods get added temporarily to FTB and only FTB, and people complain? It's pretty clear now that FTB isn't getting all the mods to be only with them, they're just getting the early releases before the mod authors want to go properly public and be bogged down by bug reports.

It's a problem with the version of IC2 in Tekkit 3.1.3. Unfortunately, there's no fix, and not likely to be one until we upgrade to a newer version of Minecraft.

The "hello" popup is FML loading. It's not an error, it's a status bar.

You missed out hosting the server yourself there, wilduu. You need to port forward the port 25565 to enable your friend to reach the server through your firewall. This is probably the best option if you have a free computer or server at home, or just a fairly powerful computer and it's only going to be the two of you on the server(I've ran about 5 people on my laptop at once, but that any more than that could cause serious lag issues). It's cheaper than using a payed host, and safer than using Himachi(For those of you that don't already know this, if a player on the Himachi network has a virus or other malware, it can easily spread through the Himachi network to other computers, since it provides a loophole through your firewall). If you want to try this option, just try googleing "How to port forward Minecraft", and you should get some good results on how to do it. The same goes for both of the other mentioned methods, google should provide good tutorials on how to use them.
