Just leave it, and try copying the example I gave you to see if that works.

Nope, just the plain number. Eg: rednet.send(2,"Hi This Is My Password It Is Secret Honest")

The IC2 recipes don't work with the IC2 in Tekkit 3.1.3, which may be your problem.

Wanting to start a new server
theprolo replied to Alexander Strife's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
He answered that pretty well, and the link will give the OP all the information he needs, as well as helping him solve his problems in future. Why answer this question every single time when you can just link people to the answer? -
Check that you haven't put a - in front of the 2nd computer's ID. It sounds like you entered a negative number instead of the real ID, so double check.

It's how BC engines explode. They have an internal energy buffer which, when reaching a certain level, increases the heat of the engine. Engines try to get rid of all the energy they can, and normally a redstone engine will be able to remove all it's excess energy and never explode. However, putting an energy link next to the engine will pump it with more power than it can get rid of, meaning that it overloads similarly to an overheated combustion engine. So yeah, the energy link is the problem.

The eof expected? That means that there is an end statement at line 4 which has no function to end. Remove it.

The timeout is optional, and only required if you want your program to stop receiving after a certain amount of time. Saying rednet.receive(5) will make your program stop receiving anything after 5 seconds and move on to the next line of code.

Fizzy, you should try the Edit button next time to prevent multi posting. Also, you can quote multiple times in the same post so you might want to try that too. Multi posting bugs me too .-. Not as bad as no commas, full stops or punctuation etc., because that actually hurts...
-
The function rednet.receive() doesn't need anything inside the brackets other than the timeout.
-
This hurt to read... Have you ever heard of the full stop or comma? I read like I'm listening to someone say it, and I almost felt out of breath after reading that huge nonstop paragraph.

Post this in the Tekkit bug forum, not the Technic bug forum.

It was basically a sob story about him raging that he got Kellered for springing to the aid of a guy who posted in the wrong place, got told he was in the wrong place, then carried on posting there. He apparently doesn't like the way the forums are moderated. By the looks of things, the feeling is mutual.

http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/these-are-the-technic-tekkit-forums.31743/ You should probably read that if you want to know why mods act like they do. It's the Technic forums, not anywhere else, and if someone makes a mistake, gets told what he did wrong and then persists with this mistake, which if you look at the post you talk about you'll notice he did, he's likely to be received badly. He decided not to follow people's advice and post in the right place, and that was his choice. You can't say that he was completely innocent and had no idea even after he was both warned and told where to go. If you don't like the moderator's style of moderating, then don't come here. You won't change them, like the many other people like you who believe that punishment for rules shouldn't be dished out the same to everyone.

Tekkit crashes after using computer to op frame motors
theprolo replied to Robert Beaty's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
I think the max limit of Frames is once every 0.8 seconds, but I heard this from my server host. -
This is the place for Tekkit bug reports: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/tekkit-bug-board.13/ You should also try searching the first line in that error log, since the answer is already out there and searching it will give you the answer far quicker than asking for it again.

This isn't a Launcher problem. Post it in the Tekkit bugs forum, not the Launcher one. Also, I'm just going to point out so you don't make the mistake again, operating system is the operating system of your computer, such as Windows 7, not the modpack.
-
From the spawning in problem, it sounds like you have block ID irregularities, specifically on the server side. Try redownloading the server and using the restored configs.

Breeding animals is nothing bad, farmers do it all the time. Beer is added by a mod which adds more than just stuff illegal for kids. To be honest, why would you actually want this mod for more than a joke?
-
In all fairness, he was told his mistake and he did persist in it. It's not as if he didn't know what he was doing wrong throughout the thread. Posting in the right place is generally a good idea in forums, and ignoring people when they tell you you've done something wrong is worse.

Challenge accepted. 0 Do you like my drawing of the Iron Band?

Haven't modders been decompiling Minecraft to get the source code for ages now?

Didn't you know? Major companies automatically block the phone numbers of people who need to use customer support from their customer support.

whenever i try to join a multiplayer server it just goes dirty and crashes.
theprolo replied to heydude456's question in Technic Launcher
Give us the logs in the log folder, or we can't help you. -
Give us the logs and a description of what happened. You don't actually expect us to be able to work out what's wrong from that, do you? Think seriously about it - saying "Halp it crashed plz fix" gives us no indication of what could be going wrong, where it's going wrong or why it's going wrong. We're not miracle workers, and we can't help you if you don't help yourself.
