yes PM this person for the ignorant owner solution : delete your map, pm me for the Actual fix, Lol.
-
I'm not the one who couldn't fix this error and had to wipe the server and claim it was multiverse, i don't think the multiverse dev team would appreciate such blasphemy.
-
posting memes in this situation is quite comical especially when used in the wrong situation, cause you know when i get the java error : net.minecraft.server.BlockRedstoneWire.doPhysics(BlockRedstoneWire.java:297) I automatically think multiverse, seems legit especially if you go to multiverse and give them that error log they would laugh at your face.
-
ill disagree with you, respectfully of-course.
-
Edit, i actually seen this error a couple of times, I know how to fix it but goodness i might not be all the help you need.

There's to many problems with NoLagg on tekkit to run efficiently, it would be wiser to run craftbukkit++ than nolagg, like items that you mine would disappear which was a huge issue, almost game breaking for miners. I don't recommend using it but if it works for you that's fine.

you can't claim for there to be no lag, what your really need is a TPS meter, that is a bit more refined then breaking a nearby block and saying oh no lag, download a plugin called lag meter, it will tell you your server TPS (ticks per second) if its below 10 your server is lagging, though i find at 10+ tps the game is still decently playable. a really good TPS is 20+ You don't really need to know: don't need to know any of this since its apparent the lag due to his hardware as it is, reason for posting was he knows its laggy he is trying to do something about his setup. why would you even need to know his java version , its obvious that hes running the latest since he has a running server...

So. you got yourself a tekkit server?
Diabloz replied to RadioHasNoFuture's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
Its really not hard at all to edit the nocheat config, its literally a questionnaire... so your calling people who run dedicated servers moronic enough not to go through a questionnaire? You must have a PhD in Tekkit configurations or something since you keep thinking your methods are better then others, we all shouldn't be aiming for the exact same servers with same configurations and same plugins same spawn etc.. we should be aiming for the same quality with different approaches. And yes when you posted that there were hacked clients, you are just too delusional and full of yourself to admit you were wrong, as jasonsj10 people used modify clients from the getgo, its something you should expect not ignore and shrug it off as if it's not there. -
Sudden CPU at 100% and pulling Max Memory plus...
Diabloz replied to PsyberTech's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
its really easy to increase the load on tekkit servers, especially ones where admins are clueless about what are the cause of lag on some servers, with my knowledge i could literally go out and take down half the servers out there or render them unplayable. Its your job as an Admin/Owner to prevent this and do your own research. -
get the 1.2.5 r5 build or below
-
also dont use nolag, use and install a plugin called Lagmeter its a more refined tool to see if your server is lagging or not, it will give you an accurate indication of your server TPS and will not put any strain on your server as far as plugins go.
-
under your bildcraft settings, change the network update setting to a higher value, this should also reduce lag. CB++ should also reduce almost 50% of server lag : https://github.com/Doridian/CraftBukkitPlusPlus/downloads Replace your tekkit.jar with build 75, rename tekkit.jar,
-
you might want to reconsider removing world/dimensional anchors and tethers, since server load comes from having active chunks loaded, especially of people are building machines such as quarries and cobble stone generators these put alot of load on your server, i also recommend using craftbukkit ++ build 75

You could post a number of things before we can tell you what is lagging your server, we don't really know what your running, but i have to agree with prenetic. your setting your self up for a world of trouble as far as isolating your core to optimize tekkit, i Run a 45 Slot server which is constantly at cap at the peek of the day (after the kids and grown up return from work) i can tell you Ive tried it all to reduce server lag, but you will still encounter some even with a good server. I suggest posting a list of plugins you are running, and the current mods you have active, there are better ways to optimize your server then to lower the slots and hope for the best, or go to a completely extreme and isolate your cores so that your running temperature is at its lowest.

update your repository install and ensure python is up to date, also make sure you have the latest java update with the latest repository.

Server lag / line of chunks when u walk in u get stuck can't move
Diabloz replied to Shakez's question in Tekkit Classic
Seeing all your server hosting experience, i assume your reply is lol-worthy. To begin minecraft is currently single threaded, meaning it only uses one core of your CPU, typically a desktop CPU has more than enough resources to run a minecraft server with more that 20 players, assuming the minimum quad core at 2+ ghz, most desktops come equipped with 4G+ of ram now, If this isnt the case then this would be one of your issues. As far as chunks not being loaded which is the case here its a connection issue, if it was a hardware issue your server would be experiencing lower server ticks. but that does not affect a player from leaving a loaded chunk to a new one. You need better upload especially if you are running of a internet line where it is just meant for home usage these typically only come with 2mbps upload.
