Reinstall the 32 bit version of java. It seems you have a 32 bit OS, or so thinks your error report

For the same reason I've been an admin on the server I play on. I accepted the position because I like to help people. Probably not. I would put money on it that you were punished for breaking the rules. As in plural, which means more than one. You aren't getting help because a. this isn't your thread and b. on your thread you were rude. It's as simple as that. Be nice, provide the information that is asked of you, and when someone knows the answer, they can provide it to you. (Same reason why anyone would do it for free, but you're rather cynical, so you probably don't understand what kindness is)

I don't remember where I found it (properties of Java I think), but it appears as 1.7.....(insert a bunch more numbers) OP, are you running anything else while trying to play?

At the very beginning, I think it needs to spell out what troubleshooting steps should be taken by users having problems. It shouldn't be required (spelling out that to get to 4, first you have to count to 1-2-3) but so many people don't know very basic solutions. DRY411S, I only assume that it's user error because the user doesn't provide the information to prove otherwise. I'm running Windows 7 x64, on a Toshiba satellite (yes a laptop, yes needs more ram.. awfully expensive for a laptop) I update my computer when it tells me to. Not immediately, I look into what it's going to change to make sure I don't run into any security issues, or possible blocking of games (this, wow) I use the following anti-bad stuff programs: Avast! Home free edition, superANTIspyware, and MalwareBytes. I deleted Norton as soon as I could, and disabled my firewalls as soon as I installed World of Warcraft. My launcher version is 1.0.1.3 My Java is version 7, update 7 x64. I use Firefox for my browser (for some dumb reason it's installed because, come on really, IE just doesn't cut it. Juicelot, do you have any other mods installed? Anything that could be trying to use Java, or accessing the modpack files while you're trying to run it? Also, try some of the solutions in the common problems&solutions sticky.

Tekkit is the multiplayer modpack in the technic pack. With the current MC (1.3.2) before the pack can update, all of the mods need to be updated to be SSP>SMP convertible. So I would venture a gues that yes, eventually there should be a lan party feature.

You are going to have to figure that one out yourself there wastipk. Try actually reading the post I put on the last thread you ridiculed me for.

We cannot provide good solutions, or even make an attempt to find a solution if we cannot understand what the poster is saying. Said perfectly here: We are not modders, we are not forum mods. We just try to help the community understand that rules are there for a reason, and most new forum posters don't understand how to communicate. We do try to prevent people from being kellered (as you are) by telling them they are doing something wrong. This usually happens when people admit "I did something wrong, I am sorry, I still want help". However, when people become aggressive, repeat offenses of the rules, or are just plain idiots, they get kellered or kitty jailed. Want help, try not attacking all of the threads we have tried to assist in.
