1. If the launcher has opened, then there is a log. 2. This is not a launcher bug, you need to post this in the Tekkit Bug Boards. But you are probably not running the correct build. Server client and launcher must run the same build.

That made no sense at all. I just relay the information I have learned to people whose problems fit the solution. I thought it would work for him as usually it does. I admitted I do not know the answer, therefore I know I am no help. Sorry, I don't know then. 95% of the time it's simple user error. Seems the handful of people trying to get it to work tonight can't use basic troubleshooting options. Wait for someone smarter to come along and help :)

Delete .techniclauncher. Uninstall Java. Restart your computer. Disable your antivirus. Reinstall Java, the correct Java for your Windows Version (32/64) Redownload techniclauncher. Run. Do not turn your AV on until you are in your modpack of choice.

3.1 is not the launcher version. Disable McAfee. A better description will yield a better solution.

7.2 does not exist. The launcher version that is current is 1.0.1.3 That is the dev build of Technic, not the launcher.

Uninstall Java (all of them if you have more than one). Delete .techniclauncher. Restart your computer. Reinstall and redownload only the correct versions of each for your computer.

Launcher 7.2 does not exist. Disable Norton.

OP, you need to provide more information. A log, the actual version not the dl date. Andrew, I can pretty well guarantee not many people will help you on this thread since you have thread jacked this thread. Wait for a possible solution to be provided to the OP. If those solutions don't help you, post your own report and tell us what fixes have not worked for you.

You probably have the wrong java.

Use pastebin to post very long logs. That mod pack is no longer being updated. I'm not sure if it was updated for 1.2.5, so that may be your problem

I don't know if Norton will block the launcher this far along in the process, but you could try disabling Norton as well. I always suggest these basic troubleshoots for launcher problems (doesn't always work once the modpack has loaded): 1. Uninstall Java, and any possible other versions of Java you may have, Delete .techniclauncher folder 2. Restart computer 3. Reinstall Java, the correct version (6 or 7) matched to the correct bit-type of your computer. If it requires an updated (which it shouldn't on a clean reinstall) allow any updates 4. Re-download the launcher Generally speaking, restarting the computer isn't necessary if the installed/uninstalled program doesn't ask, but I have gotten into the habit of restarting after uninstalls, just seems to work better for me. More often than not, this works, so I hope it helps :)

I remember seeing a solution for this once. Don't remember it though. Try searching "applescript error" I think it has something to do with the installed Java. Wait for someone smart to come around (usually aka tepidpond)

Sometimes I get a little mad at the dumb little twits and feel the need to report everything they do against the rules. Very therapeutic to know eventually a nice mod will come along and see the dumb (and maybe get some amusement out of it).
