I simply love this part.

Delete your .techniclauncher folder. Uninstall java. Then download the correct version of java for your computer (this is why you got the "can't find" error). Reinstall the technic pack. Starting a fresh/clean reinstall almost always works, for nearly all bugs. Make sure you are installing the correct version of java for your computer. The sticky COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS explains this. And please, in the future use pastebin to post long logs, and use the edit button to avoid multi posting.

You most likely have the wrong Java version for your operating system. See above link.

What is it that you have tried to do a lot of times?

Did it work? I've seen a few reports of people having sound problems, and I'm sure they'd love to know :)

Apologies for this unintentional bump. I can't seem to get the edit screen to pop up when I click 'edit'. Upon reinstalling everything, I am able to log in without a problem-possibly a corrupted Java file? If anyone else has an issue similar to this, here are screen shots of what I did, and the end result was me being able to play Tekkit. (By the way, rather strange that the hyperlink screen comes up but the edit box doesn't, not too good with the technical stuff tonight!)

Title: White screen on server join Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7, 64 bit Java Version: 7, 64 bit Description of Problem: I just tried to join the server I play on. After clicking the server and the join server button the following happens: dirt screen, 'Logging In', dirt screen with a flash of a text box (looks like a Notepad file, but it is too brief to actually tell), black screen, white screen. The first time I tried to close Tekkit, it stopped responding, and the windows "Program not responding" box came up, when I clicked "end now" it didn't close. I closed Tekkit with my task manager, cleared my cache, and tried again. Same thing happened, again. I believe what I have posted in the log section is my problem, if it is, I just need to know how to fix it. I have linked the pastebin's of the two logs, hopefully someone can tell me if there is a different issue. What these two are trying to say is: fill out the bug report properly, and we will be able to assist you.

Problem 1, launcher not loading if the cache isn't cleared-just clear the cache. Problem 2, tekkit not working after the cache is cleared, should be posted in the tekkit bug boards.
