  1. I agree AnnaMayBelle. It depends on what you want out of the game. Sometimes I play MC like a game, gather resources, have a goal etc. Other times I just want to build some complicated machine thing and don't want to worry about resources.
  2. That is the problem with mixing EE and IC and BC...whats the point of the machines when EE lets you pull resources out of your ass for next to free?
  3. Is this a problem? part of the NEI item ID Dump. 4. A redstone signal turns the reactor off. Put a light block with a NOT gate input on the redstone line that controls your reactor. Yes.
  5. I installed a plugin called AntiZombie that allows you to configure regions where specified mobs won't spawn. I then defined my serrvers "civilised" areas so that Creepers, Skeletons, Zombies and Spiders won't spawn in this area but everyplace else. Use the version linked below. The newer version is for a newer Bukkit build. http://cloud.github.com/downloads/bb-generation/AntiZombie/AntiZombie.jar Took some effort to get the config right, very poorly documented, and example generated by the code is incorrect. Here is the config that is working for me: area: area0: entities: - Creeper - Zombie - Skeleton - Spider x0: -63 y0: 62 z0: 120 x1: 173 y1: 128 z1: 379 world: Tekkit area1: entities: - Creeper - Zombie - Skeleton - Spider x0: 174 y0: 62 z0: 120 x1: 299 y1: 128 z1: 319 world: Tekkit area2: entities: - Creeper - Zombie - Skeleton - Spider x0: -10 y0: 62 z0: 276 x1: -68 y1: 128 z1: 138 world: Tekkit
  6. Is there a list somewhere of the permissions nodes that are available for the default set of mods and plugins that are included in Tekkit?
  7. You can re-install the mod, but any entities/objects that are part of that mod that were previously created in your world are gone. I would suggest just re-installing the complete Tekkit Mod server pack.
  8. Whoops - too late. You started the server without the mod enabled/installed. All those entities are gone now. your only options are to rebuild or restore your world from a backup.
  9. Did you even look at the Stickies?
  10. Have you tried disabling MATMOS (F7)?
  11. Can't do it without Avante help. I had NO response to any of my several inquiries to get Tekkit setup from either tech support or the president of the company ([email protected]). I have cancelled my account there.
  12. Recommended. Cleared cache and re-downloaded Technic client. It's all there now and makes much more sense. :)
  13. Can you explain how the ice factory works? It didn't seem to be doing anything after the ice supply in the chest was depleted. Are there supposed to be compressors under the Adv. Insertion pipes?
  14. It's been 13 days since you posted your problem...nobody answered. Maybe you need to provide more information. What have you done in the last 2 weeks to try and resolve the issue? Have you tried running your world through on diagnostic utilities like Chunkster or RegionFixer? If so what was the result?
  15. What is the purpose of the 3x3 stacks of HV transformers?
  16. Wasn't this crossposted on the bug forum too? I thinks someone will get spanked.
  17. Are you sure its the filter thats jammed up and not the sorter? disconnect the output pipe from the sorter and see if it spits anything out.
  18. I'd venture a guess that you either haven't installed the Tekkit server files correctly or you are having permissions issues.
  19. You are hooking up your output wire to the dotted side, right? this wire is connected to something that accepts EU as input, right?
  20. If you can't figure this problem out by yourself then your going to be very disappointed with the turtles if you do get them working. The ComputerCraft items don't really do anything useful until you program them.
  21. Hmmmm.... Nice informative post. How exactly are they not working? You can't build them? You can't place them? They aren't accepting EU? They aren't transmitting EU? Something else?
  22. Really? You support response is worse than Treepunchers!
