  1. server.properties, server-ip= hamachi ip
  2. Your not having issues with the server, you are having issues with your network configuration. You did port forward to your servers internal IP on your router? You've disabled the AV on your server to troubleshoot? You opened the port on the servers firewall, right? you have the correct internet facing IP?
  3. Have you attempted to implement permissions is any way?
  4. If the sorter doesn't have a filter for the items pulled by the filter then they will jam up the system. Make sure everything coming out of the chest is represented in the sorter, or use the last sort setting to pass on anything not in the sorter UI.
  5. in game pressing F9 will show the chunks and surrounding chunks that are loaded. F9 puts a blue outline of the chunks at eye level of the player with a red outline in the center.
  6. I updated some railcraft textures for Dokucraft....feel free to use them no credit needed. I can post or send the .PDN source if anybody wants them.
  7. You'll also need some way to remove the ingots because the different types won't mix. For example, if copper ingots are in the completed slot the furnace won't smelt iron dust.
  8. Can you post a permissions file for just the plugins that come with a Tekkit install? This would probably give most peeps most of what they need and an example to work from to figure out how to config for any plugins they add.
  9. Huh? RailCraft is already configured with the item Id's for Tekkit, and the Railbore doesn't do mining in the sense that it cares what blocks are in front of it.
  10. I am using Treepuncher to host my Tekkit server. I asked TP about the RAM allocation and was told they allocate 70MB per user slot. I asked about this being a rather small memory allocation based on the common statement that Tekkit needs 1 GB or better and was told they have no complaints from the users. To be honest, my 5 slot server does run reasonably well, service and support has been acceptable and I did re-up my subscription. BUT Am now looking for a different host.....thier 5 slot server just doesn't have enough memory to run a Tekkit server. Their support personnel are worthless, their only solution is to start a new world when its obvious the server is starved for memory. Instead of telling me that i needed to buy more slots they kepp saying the world is corrupt start a new one.
  11. I'd be careful with WorldSaver, I disabled that plugin and my world corruption problems seem to have went away.
  12. Hmmm - Your question does seem rather noobish as this is a common problem and there are many sources to get a proper answer. The solution offered by DHBM, although it will keep you from seeing the "Can't keep up..." message, doesn't really address the reason the server is telling you that. The real answer is you need to allocate more RAM via the -XMS parameters in the Launch.bat, OR realize that you CPU is just not fast enough to run Tekkit.
  13. So a half hour after your original post you still haven't looked at the BugBoard forum? I doubt anyone here could help you you even if they were inclined to.
  14. I don't think this is a bug as such, just the wrong name associated to the right object. I have had no problems with the copper cable in any recipe.
  15. I agree. Try using steam engines in place of the redstones and I betchya it works.
  16. That's because YOU as the player can't fill lava cells from a tank. You could use a deployer to fill buckets from the tank, then a BC Auto crafting table to fill cells from the buckets. Attach the BC Auto table to a chest with BC pipes to output the filled cells and your all set. A potential problem with this solution is how to clear the empty buckets from the BC AT, probably requiring some fancy timing with RP2 circuits.
  17. Works in BC steam engines too. Not sure about the output though.
  18. I've found this is a sign of not enough RAM or not enough CPU. What are your servers specs?
  19. You will only find one type of each ore in a Tekkit world.
  20. I can confirm that the IC2 pump is not filling cells or buckets, either from a chest or in the item slot.
