Good question. Give it a try and see if the latest build for 1.5.1 works. I only had to update three or four of my mods in my private modpack when my usual vanilla server updated.

I notice that particular wiki was made with GregBreakYourHandsTech in mind, so that's not likely the best to use. The fundamentals, yes, the details not really.

That's easy, the FTB Wiki has a comprehensive list of all bee species (Extra Bees and Thaumic Bees included) and how to breed them. You should aim for a stable Imperial line for producing Royal Jelly to make parts for Aveieries(sp?), as those have the best production rates for all bees, along with useful components to add to the multiblock structure. Beyond that, whatever end products you're looking for, and any desired traits you wish to cultivate. I used to do a fun mix of seasonal Leprodine and Tropical bees for good Meadow-like bees to get Silky Combs from. Stung like the dickens, though.

You should see the basic wheat autofarm I made in 1.3.2 Tekkit using only RP and a little BC. Was easily scalable and could have a fertilizer system added onto the gantry arm.

It's an old bug in Vanilla that didn't get fixed until 1.5.2. There's a special list of little fixer mods that you can apply to your older builds and servers, over in Modder's Market
