Yeah. Since diamonds can be made with pure carbon (by making fullerene,) just making a whole melon from slices gives you free carbon in the process. Just keep breaking down whole melons and the compounds it creates, then make a whole bunch of slices from the water you can create from that, and do it again. This is doable for 1.4.7, so I don't know if that was changed for this version.

Teraku should be banned for promoting humanized animals. That's for humans, and animals need to remain animals!

If you want diamonds that bad, try MineChem. See if that melon loop is still there.

Color me surprised, there's some interesting behaviors in redstone that I use to my advantage. I can stick a pair of pistons on either side of a regular block and just power that middle block to activate both pistons. And redstone repeaters are great in compact builds as they allow you to tightly activate a row of blocks. If the latest build has it, I can test it for sure.

That's why we use sticks to poke things with. *pokepokes Calv with one* It's human nature to be fascinated with dead things.

And Jakj is working on a beta for that at this moment. It's promising, if buggy.

Enchanting Plus pretty much let's you choose the enchantments you want in a special GUI of its own. It replaced the vanilla enchanting table and has a craftable portable version, too. The configuration has some interesting gameplay tweaks if you wanted to turn them on.

Then go play with some other modpack that has it.

The eyes... they're staring into my soul! @Industrial Miner : You could always reskin the Little Maids mod. But it might not work, as they spawn in the wild. (Odd, I know. Makes me wonder.)

It's always a good idea to take a close look at the changelogs and the mod thread to be sure of compatibility.

Fun suggestion: Give the carriage sideness. That way, when you apply a pulse on one side, it pushes away from the side it's pulsed from. That would be interesting to use.

Okay, did a little fiddling around... The Carriage seem to function like the old RP2 Engine did--stick a block on top, pulse it, and it'll scoot an item over. It seems to move most mod items over just fine; the only one that even remotely glitches was the More Pistons (Smeagol build) when I dropped a Sticky Super Piston on it, and only the piston arm/plate disappeared. I'll investigate that more thoroughly, regular pistons didn't have that problem. (Fire Jets from Twilight Forest are scary just to activate. That's giving me adventure/parkor map ideas.) I did notice one thing, and you'll deal with it eventually, but any block it moves will overwrite any block that's already there.

Default vanilla goes no higher than 2GB, but when running Technic Modpacks the extra buffer helps. (Forgotten Nature mod seems to be taking a dump on the world gen system lately, though.)

I'll throw it into mine and see if it misbehaves; there's some modblocks in there that should have an opportunity to glitch on 'em.

Imiblis' Microblocks has better flexibility than RP microblocks, so you didn't lose that yet.

Should be a pre-loaded program on them that will do it for you. I don't recall the specifics, but see if excavate() works, and drop the turtle next to a chest so it'll remember where it is.

He's right. The general rule for Java apps is to let them have half of your total memory. I can get away with allocating 12 out of 16Gb, but that's a spec thing and the parts aren't high end.

IC2 and RP2 are technically dead in the water--no updates for months, and it's time to let them sink into the deeps for the time being. Mystcraft is still active, just slow at getting a 1.5.2 out. Expect it to be put back in once BinaryMage has a stable build put out.

Optifine is a client-side only mod, and that gets installed directly into your modpack.jar file.

That kind of setup is fine; I'm not expecting you to go throwing Microblock support in, either. The covers/plates idea was nice, but tended to be pretty fiddly at times. Might want to just slap on/scrape off a slimeball for that sticky effect.

I planned on getting an advanced potion-making system made in the disguise of alcohol. Real Life is interfering, though. :P

Might wanna take a look around, there's a number of pre-existing mods that further modify the Nether. My personal favorite is Natura, with Metallurgy a close second.
