Looks like it is still trying to run java32, based on the error. You can either uninstall java and reinstall just the 64 bit version, or go into control panel/java and tell it to use 64 bit version. Not sure exactly how that works, and honestly I am treading in unfamiliar water so I could be way off. My server is hosted on a 32 bit machine so i didn't have this issue, just a crappy server ;p

If you do not modify your original post to contain the bug report format you will be very lucky if anyone helps you, the mods will probably lock/delete this thread, and if you keep up with the attitude they might probate/ban you too. Edit: We both know what the answer to your issue is, but there are rules and formats in place for a reason. The mods are here to make sure the forums maintain a certain level of quality, and people that cannot even read the stickies do not tend to last for long around here. I apologize if I am coming across as rude, but honestly you could have gotten far worse replies, and I really am trying to help you.

The buildcraft pump drops its own pipe directly under itself. No need to put waterproof pipes into water, unless I misunderstood what you meant.

Oh I know this one! Did you make a industrialcraft Pump instead of a buildcraft Pump?

Did you fill the peat bog with bog earth?

If you are talking about engines, it is the grey iron wrench you should be using. You right click the buildcraft object to change its alignment, but it will only change to a valid target. So place your machines first, then wrench it into the correct position.

You downloaded the launcher and used that to run tekkit? There is no way it should interfere with vanilla minecraft.

Once you put it in on the left and remove it, all emc should be removed from the tablet. Now put it back in on the left and you can make whatever.

Did you make sure the java7 you installed was 64 bit?

Make it each persons responsibility to turn off their own machines before logging off or risk them blowing up/lagging the server when everyone logs off.

I didn't find most of them to be useful for the kinds of things I would actually use a sorting machine for, but that's just me.

Personally I just shut off my machines before logging off.

I am running only Cenotaph, which is a death chest (so you don't lose all your shit if you die in lava) and Permissions to set up cenotaph. They both work fine.

Edit: Nope, messed around with the pedestals for awhile on my server and no luck whatsoever. As was mentioned, adding items to the pedestals GUI does not make them show on the pedestal block, and they cannot be powered on. Sorry friends! On the bright side I had never messed with pedestals before and had some fun with them in technic ssp =p

You got the right idea, the last mode of the sorting machine, 5 i believe, allows you to assign a color to any items not otherwise color coded. So just make your unsorted chest that color and the unpainted the overflow.

Just dicked around with em in creative mode and got it working pretty easily. Drop the pedestal near the thing you want to speed boost, shift-right click on the pedestal to open the interface and pop in the watch. Now right click on it to turn it on, there should be flames around the base and purple particles flying around. If you want to get them working on a redstone signal there are some quirks. Firstly, redstone dust does not work unless it is going directly into the pedestal. Running a line of dust past several pedestals next to each other will not activate them. Redstone wire seems to workaround this issue and will activate all pedestals it is touching. The other quirk is that they only change states when the redstone signal turns on. That is to say: Redstone on > Pedestals on Redstone off > nothing Redstone on > Pedestals off Redstone off > nothing You could probably attach some redpower gizmo that sends a pulse when the input changes to get around that. So yeah, got 7 pedestals up and running on a switch and the collector I was using to test it was running noticably faster, also mobs trying to run through the area were incredibly slow. They do work, just need to be set up correctly. edit: sweet jesus that image is huge, how do i make it a thumbnail you have to click on to see the full image?
