  1. hahaha your dad sounds awesome.
  2. are you fucking kidding me? really? get bent. seriously.
  3. have you tried the front page?
  4. should be in the nvidia control panel. I don't have a laptop with an nvidia card, so I don't know the specific steps. the general idea though is that you set up a profile for java.exe and make it run in full power mode or whatever the option is called that forces it to use the actual card and not the integrated graphics chip.
  5. slow doesn't even begin to describe you it seems, but yes. that is exactly what I am saying.
  6. make sure that java is set to always use your full GPU potential in your graphics driver control panel. see if that helps.
  7. it's probably a result of the way the mods use metadata and damage values to save block IDs. worldedit most likely does not remember those bits of info and thus you get the right block ID, but not the right block.
  8. nobody said anything about the OP asking for ETAs. he got his answer too. who are you even talking to with this post? did you actually read the thread? also, magicman525, we don't give a rip about your disabilities, real or not. there was once a musical sarlac that learned this first hand. you should not try for a repeat performance.
  9. this is some good and useful information. well done, OP.
  10. this isn't the place for this kind of post. not only that, if you're going to try and set something like this up, at least have the server taken care of beforehand.
  11. I keep getting more and more motivation to extend the temp ban I gave this guy
  12. OP, by any chance, are you on a laptop?
  13. listen guy, you've been shitting up a bunch of threads lately. this thread was already terrible and you actually managed to make it worse. not only that, You Are Typing Like This With Capital Letters For Every Word Even Though They're Not All Proper Nouns.
  14. there's a problem with a reactor in your world. use MCEdit to remove it and see if that helps. not sure what caused the problem though. as for this guy get bent.
  15. reporting the post, as suggested above, is the best way to get those people the mod attention they deserve.
  16. everybody makes mistakes sometimes. it's not like he's perma-banned or anything. he'll be back and raping creativity again in no time.
  17. you were given a direct link on how to format your post, but you ignore it and post here instead? I just...
  18. yes, yes you do. looks like you got it too, which is amazing.
  19. I'm going with stuts=shuts as in it shuts down as fast as it started.
  20. what have we learned? never post from your ipod. I typed this from my keyboard, that's why it's intelligible.
  21. the reason that the router upgrade will not affect you if you're on the same machine as the server is that it isn't involved at all in the communication between the two, or at least it shouldn't be. I am assuming you are connecting to the server using localhost and not your external IP. if that is not the case, then your router would have an impact on your connection. if you are using localhost, your router isn't even involved in the equation for you when you connect to the server.
  22. you see this, right here? this "post" you just made? it is the definition of a low effort post. what the fuck do you think you're getting across by posting a bunch of periods? are you insinuating that you're now menstruating? are you just really enamored with punctuation? if you're trying to post the equivalent of an awkward silence, there's a better way to do that. don't post at all.
  23. just so you know, if you're connecting from the same laptop that's hosting, a new router will almost certainly do nothing to improve your situation. one possible solution may be to completely uninstall and then reinstall your network card drivers. wired and wireless if your laptop has both (it probably does). the TCP/IP settings may have become damaged somehow by the virus or the cleaning of it and it would explain the timing of your issue as well.
  24. you're sure dumb alright, at least you got that part right. read the stickies and post in the proper format if you want an answer to your problem that has been answered many times already.
  25. are you connecting locally to the server? i.e. you're on the same network and/or machine as the server? I suppose if you really want to see what's being send you could bust out a tool like wireshark, but don't expect anyone here to be able to help you set it up let alone decipher the results.
