  1. You can use regular filters if you don't want to use blutricity. Otherwise, it's just one RP2 solar panel to power a sorting machine.
  2. In my experience TPs are just screwy in general. I hate using them. I've had setups that work in SMP and then after accidentally knocking one of the pipes off and then replacing it, wouldn't work anymore (yes the frequencies were correct). I use ender chests + pneumatic tubes whenever possible, and always use pneumatic tubes in place of BC pipes. They're far superior and won't bug out on you.
  3. Language doesn't matter as much as you may think and he gets 60 fps in vanilla minecraft. Optifine or w/e should make it go higher. --- Tekkit isn't recognizing your graphics card, you'll have to add javaw.exe (or something similar, just look for the java task), and manually add it to your graphics drivers.
  4. It's not your RAM that's the problem, its your VRAM. Do you have a discrete video card? Also, what sphax pack is that? 32x? 64x?
  5. You can add another version of the machine on another side of where the player will be to ensure death. And gavjenks has gone over forcefields before, they're far from impenetrable.
  6. A diamond warhammer can't instakill. So here is what I am having trouble to understand. You, Mr. Seto, are the one responsible for the edit in the wiki, but then a day later you come here and post asking to confirm it. You edit the wiki first with dubious information. And perhaps further, you added in false information. When I quote the wiki you then say it could be unreliable -- knowing full well you were the one that made the edit. It seems to me you added false information to the wiki deliberately and wanted to cover up that you were the one that added it. This doesn't make any sense, unless you were simply attempting to confuse us. That or you are very, very dull.
  7. I did further investigating, the OP is the one that made that edit. The question that remains is why. I suspect it's to cover up some of his own hacking. Don't add things to the wiki that you know may not be true or are unconfirmed. Shame on you sir.
  8. Naw it's cool, most of us have nano armor suits which protect us quite well from things like falling debris and fire. But thanks for your concern.
  9. 1) Yes, but not directly. You can convert EU into MJ with an energy link, through a power teleport pipe to another pipe on the same frequency, into an engine generator, and then to whatever device you're powering directly adjacent or through wires. 2) Three layers will completely contain a nuclear explosion. And yes, tekkit nuclear reactors can and will explode.
  10. Well, I've spent some amount of time on a good economy server, and I've learned many tweaks that need to be done to ensure it works. XL biomes is a must. Metal ore resources may be 2x as rare, since macerators double one's return. If MCMMO is added, then making everything else 2x as rare and metal ores 3x as rare is something that may work. Increase the chance of rain in all non-desert biomes mildly. Nerf solar panels and subsequent solar arrays to only output 1/2 (don't forget to decrease packet size). Have a market place where people can build shops/trade/etc. It has to be easy to get to, like a /warp. Either remove the nether or make it extremely dangerous to even people wearing nano armor.
  11. An additional two experiments were run to verify. They demonstrated that neutrinos do not travel FTL.
  12. Yes, XL biomes and any serious economy server disables EE. Then you really get some trading going.
  13. Oh, I forgot to mention you have to make ores biome specific or economics won't really work. The servers I play on have this feature, so going out and mining tin if you set up in a forest just isn't an option, you'd have to go find a river or mountain or something.
  14. Perhaps if you're new to trading. I always trade any ore for any other ore for 1.5x as much, allowing for mixing and matching of ores. This gives me a profit of 50%, which I can then use to turn around and sell to someone else. Most people are glad to throw excess ore at me for what they need. Usually if you throw in free services such as macerating and making ingots yourself they're even more willing to trade. The goal of trading it make profit of any kind, not get what you want. That is, if you're looking at it from a trader's perspective.
  15. I had that same problem this morning when I accidentally deleted my technic launcher and had to download a new copy. I fixed it by running from the .jar
  16. It would be nice to have a scuba tank, mask, and fins for underwater funs
  17. In that case I'd remove me not having more apples.
  18. You can disable optifine by removing it from the tekkit folder.
  19. It's a shame there isn't a cart with spikes on it.
  20. That I had more apples!
  21. The game isn't using your graphics cards for some reason. I don't know why.
