  1. In the top right of the MFE GUI you'll see a redstone button -- it will change the MFE's behavior.
  2. Turning the rubber wood into rubber is far more useful than using it for like, wood.
  3. Continue working on my death ray schematics. But you didn't hear that from me.
  4. Holo is its appropriate translation, whereas Horo would be the name spelled in romaji. Calling her Horo is a bit like calling someone named Alice "Arisu", since the setting is non-Japanese and uses European names. The entire ordeal was created by a fansubber who inappropriately translated the name, and now a good bit of people continue to follow it, despite not being canon. Nonetheless, because of the setting's story and the official position, I adhere to the English spelling since it is intended to be an English (or at least European) name. Also to remain consistent; after all, I haven't seen anyone call Kraft Lawrence "Kurafuto Rorensu", which is just plain silly. It has everything to do with my fixation with proper grammar. I couldn't care less what other people call her.
  5. Nothing so complicated as actual chemistry, that would just break the simple spirit of the game. Potions, yes. But other things too, like fertilizers or even mob repellent.
  6. I've watched more anime than most. I've found it tends to have a far deeper and compelling plot to live action TV shows. Even Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek TNG/VOY pales in comparison to some good anime. But that's just me.
  7. Ironically I spend less than an hour a day playing video games. I spend the rest of my time reading or watching lectures.
  8. You're not using the correct recipe.
  9. I do love starting out with solar, usually I'm fine on energy because of beds (lol ). They are a bit expensive though, and it's going to be a pretty slow start until you can crank out some decent EUs. In my latest world I just got my MV solar array out and cranking just yesterday. But hey, that's hooked up to a MFSU that's actually pretty much full (adding a second one soon). If you don't really use a lot of power to begin with, and not worried about journeying down into the mines a bit later than you normally would have to, then it's viable.
  10. If you're mainly using this for MC, or like, most gaming, then getting an i7 is excessive. Most games won't even use more than two cores. For $1k you can get a decent sized upgrade, especially without having to worry about peripherals. So an i5, mobo, and graphics card are going to run you most of it. Did you want a SSD, or maybe a SSD as a main drive and a larger HDD as a storage drive? Edit: Video cards come in different types, but all recent ones will be pci-e.
  11. And this is as much as I am going to help. The rest is up to you. Au revoir.
  12. We must bow before our colorful overlords.
  13. For multiple monitors running games on max settings with high resolution you'll need two GTX 690s, at least. Depending on the number of monitors.
  14. Sounds like an exploit. I suppose you could put up a thicker force-field.
  15. The electric systems don't match up. And considering the disparity between RP2 and IC2 this would only exacerbate the problem. It would be neat to have. It would be neater to have everything run off of the same kind of power and circuit system.
  16. Radeon 7970 isn't very powerful compared to your processor. Forget about LGA 1366, it's discontinued. Go for LGA 2011 and get a sandy bridge extreme edition CPU, make sure you have two PCI-E slots with plenty of space. GTX 670 should do nicely (although two would be better). Although if you can spend that much on a CPU you may be able to just get a GTX 690 and a motherboard with just one pci-e slot (but you'll need a lot of space). RAM is going to need to operate at 1600MHz, since we're going for a high profile build. Just make sure your case is full-sized to accommodate everything. And skip out on the corsair PSU and opt for a Seasonic X650 or X750 PLUS GOLD.
  17. Remove the texture pack from your texture packs folder.
  18. Start MC through the technic launcher and make sure tekkit is selected.
  19. You must be new to forums. All forums always have an edit button. All forums generally have rules against double posting. It's the rules you should have read but probably didn't. --- Technic and Tekkit are similar. Technic just has more stuff (a lot more stuff).
  20. It will be updated automatically when you start the launcher.
  21. Post these problems in the bug forum. They don't belong in this forum.
  22. I don't know if you're the one that closed the hack/exploit thread, but I did intend to modify it after rereading the rules (discussing illegal content is against the forum rules). In case that distinction matters at all.

Oh, thank you. That wasn't necessary but I'll sleep better tonight.
