  1. According to the computercraft wiki, it's disabled by default, and the server needs to enable it. Edit: :ninja:
  2. What's up with the bold? Also, out of curiosity, Andrew, is the http api for computercraft enabled? I've never checked. If it isn't, could you please do that? It would help me start up my computer systems a LOT faster.
  3. Also, lukeb, I'm suing you for copyright infringement. This is a clear violation of my tos, in which it is stated: "No-one may use the name of nedned2k, full or in part, under any circumstances."
  4. Yeah, this thread will slowly become self-aware and take over the forums....
  5. Hooray! Too bad I won't be able to play until tomorrow. Anyway, When I am able to get on, I'll likely build my spawn shack for the ill-prepared for some traveling materials and then head off south for a few kilometers to found Nedco's new base. Also, Sev, if you want to talk in private, you can always just message me on the forums.
  6. Must. Resist. Urge. To Be. Idiotic.
  7. You should also suggest that people donate to the ones who made the mods in the first place.
  8. Sooooo, "final" build as in it'll be a beta server for the next week or so, then after it's pushed to recommended, no more server restarts for a long time, right?
  9. Well then, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this, but I'll assume you mean something along the lines of, "Wouldn't Nedco be at a disadvantage because people actually can do what they want, even though we say they can't?" And to that I say, yes, people are allowed by the server to do whatever, but when they are caught to do something against Nedco law, they are punished justly, not by banning and such, but by other methods, that we devise ourselves. Such as being hunted down and murdered ruthlessly, depending on the charge, of course.
  10. No, the server itself should be anarchy, meaning that people, themselves, can do whatever, and the people they wrong can dish out whatever punishment they want. What I propose is not a server-wide thing, but simply rules, regulations, and processes that people within Nedco must follow. I think if we tried to force people to follow a certain government, we'd end up with much less people joining, and probably lose a bunch unless the government was really well-structured. Besides, this allows companies to set up their own government as well, or no government, leading to a more diverse system. It also allows people to leave a company that they don't agree with.
  11. Actually, I think I'm ready to release what I'm planning with Nedco (and why I refused to be bought by Quantum), at least in part. I want to create a fully-functioning government within the server, not just Nedco as a company, but Nedco as a country, with laws, taxes, crime, punishment, and so on. I have drafted a constitution, and I want to hear your ideas on it. pastebin
  12. I don't really see the point of a history in the server thread, if what you put could be called that, if I have the values and goals already down, but if you insist.... Nedco, founded by Nedned2k, was established near the end of November 2012, and for a few weeks had the founder as the sole member. AshtonFearBolt was Nedco's first member, but after a few days, he took to stealing from Quantum, due to the slow progression of Nedco and the vast wealth that Quantum had, and was shortly fired. Soon after, as the founder built up his base, two more people, Digidude and DT_Darkness, joined. However, in late December 2012 and early January 2013, the founder became inactive, and these members left, leaving Nedco as a one-man entity once again. After the server reset of January 2013, ryusazaki, joined Nedco, and helped build up their second base. Then, as the impending server reset for the beta of TBR came, these two bacame inactive, until the server started up again for the beta testing of TBRv1.3.0-20 started a new world. After several more weeks, as more people joined the beta, SeventhOmega (Sev) and darkreapa agreed to join Nedco. The four members of Nedco now await the pushing of the beta, so that they may start building up their empire. Also, as a side note, let it be said that I have big plans for Nedco. We won't be just a company.
  13. Actually, ysharma, That was what I wanted for my desciption, you can remove what you wrote. And could you put Nedco Founder instead of Nedco Founder and CEO?
  14. You asked for it Nedco is an entity of ideas. Unlike other companies, we do not take an end product and decide how we're going to get there, rather the opposite; we take an idea and decide how it can be used. There is no such thing as a bad idea, only those that do not provide an apparent use. The difference between Nedco and others is that we can see that a particular idea may not be very useful, but it may lead to another idea, which might be. Also, we strive to share in our ideas as much as possible, while providing credit where credit is due. We advance the most, not by any single person, but by the collaboration of a group of people working as one unit. We do not care about immediate results, but progress. We do not care about practicality, but theory. Take the invention of the computer, for example. Who, when hearing about the large, bulky, practically useless machines taking up large rooms thought that they would lead a larger technological advance in fifty years than in the last two hundred? The answer is simple: Those who did not care about the lack of practicality, but realized it for what it was, progress.
  15. He means the one he put earlier on this page. And I would appreciate it if I could edit my own Company information.
  16. As far as the wiki goes, I'm not going to set up a team or anything. Just help as you can, following the explained format, and the information will eventually all be there.
  17. Hmm, I think I'll update my prediction to fifteen pages....
  18. The server IP is donshik.servegame.com, default port. And that is a very large explosion.... Also, I have a base just north of the spawn point that you're welcome to do whatever with. I have some resources in a chest that you can use if you help improve the base. It's fairly hard to miss, it's dug down into a sand mountain and connected to a massive cave system.
  19. The Hilarity is slowly becoming more and more ridiculous.
  20. IIRC, Andrew said at first that it would be for trusted people, but then decided to let everyone on, and the current server IP is actually the beta server. I may be on later today, if anyone else wants to join.
  21. This is why I love these forums. Edit: This is probably the wierdest ninja I've encountered. For the record, I'm referencing the entire thread.
  22. Place your bets as to how long this thread will end up before mods lock it. I'm going to say around seven or so.
  23. As long as it doesn't become self-aware and take over the technic forums, we should be fine. >: )
  24. Did you turn it off and on again?
