I'm going to guess that you probably need an "=" somewhere. Posting your code would, indeed, be most helpful.

I was thinking more along the lines of a TBR party, where we just get on and do whatever. With enough people, everything will be tested eventually. But if you really want to make it a more thorough thing, then make sure that the people you let on are good testers, and at least let us choose which mods we want to test.

Here's an idea for future betas, perhaps you could only allow certain people on a seperate server, but in creative mode. This'll allow people to more quicky be able to get things to see if they work or not, and people will be less angry when you need to reset the world.

That would be very much appreciated, but I've been working off of the modlist within the game, so don't feel like you have to do that instantly.

Oh, by the way, I'm working on a wiki for the modpack, as I found it tiring trying to figure out which mods added what. It's not very expansive yet (I have a general section for the first 20 or so mods, and only one has extensive information), but I'll continue working on it and anyone else is welcome to help. It's at tbrmodpack.wikia.com.

Because it's not completely nonfunctional EE3 has working things in it, just not many. Don't worry though, it will be updated over time. Either live with it, or play Classic.

They don't start again until they cool down a bit. They get heat as they work, and it takes time for the heat to go down to a certain level, where it'll start again.

If you're patient, they start again.

I think everyone should just chill and play minecraft. That's why we're all here, anyway.

I would like to point out that I have spawned in a tree, and spawn protection is on. Removing either the tree or spawn protection would be appreciated.

May I point out that he states that the idea of minecraft in a "Hippie harmony civilisation on a new world. ... no monetary quagmire, global manipulation or super rich omnipotence. All is good." is his philosophy; however, if you have such a society, hypothetically, you are always going to have those who would abuse the lack of authority. Not everyone would, but there will always be someone. So really, what you want is living in a society where there is unwritten law that is flexible and everyone follows it, which, with the people that live today, simply can't happen, and is not at all represented by minecraft. /endphilosophocalrant

Your problem isn't that you need to install mods, the launcher does that. The problem is that you've selected a different modpack to run than the server is running. Looking at the modlists of Tekkit Lite and Tekkit Classic, you're trying to connect to a Classic server with the Lite modpack. In the launcher, just select "Tekkit Classic" instead of "Tekkit Lite", and it should work.
