  1. Oh, you meant modding environment. I'll even translate for you. Translation: "Could anyone please give me their recommendations on a coding environment that I could use for modding?" Translation: "Please, I really need a program to mod with"
  2. I could spell far better than that when I was nine, what's wrong with the education system these days? Or is it just the lack of appreciation for correct spelling and grammar.
  3. Macerate it into flint. That'll teach it.
  4. What is "ecwetment" even supposed to mean?
  5. And whoever did this didn't even have the decency to put correct grammar.
  6. Well, what did you do?
  7. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=What+are+Alphanumeric+Characters%3F But really, being able to find information on your own is a valuable skill.
  8. Try updating java, and you can look at the stickies to find out where your log is.
  9. Yes, it does
  10. Either this or a spambot
  11. The threads that are stuck to the top of each forum section, maybe you can start with the one that's conveniently labeled "Common Problems And Solutions"
  12. Basically, the reaction you're about to get can be summed up in the following. Asking for ETA's is against the rules because it's annoying and there's no actual control the technic team has over when the mods are updated. The Technic Pack/Tekkit will update when the mods are, and the mods will be updated when the mods are updated, and no sooner. You'll just have to wait like the rest of us, unless you want to go and code the updates yourself.
  13. Read the stickies.
  14. I second this motion.
  15. Hmm, I'd say that putting windmills in a witch lair is a very bad idea, but as far as cable, tin's enough to hold wind power. Iron pipes stop items from popping out if they can't go in, and you can have another iron pipe before it to make it go to the macerater again, in case it can't fit. edit: ninja'd twice, XP
  16. In my opinion, the condenser is a wonderful idea that has been implemented less-than-perfectly. being able to turn useless things into useful things is the basis of EE, and for that I love it, but condensers, combined with collectors, will always lead to far too many resources for the work that has been done. I suppose the reason most players prefer "survival" using the hell out of EE over creative mode is that they have the satisfaction of saying they earned it. Sure, they spent 10% of the time it would take otherwise, but they spent that time, nonetheless. As far as banning the condenser, it depends on the community of the server. If there are a lot of people abusing EE, then it should be banned, otherwise, why fix a working system? As a suggestion, you could, perhaps, have another world where all of EE is allowed, to show how destructive it is in the wrong hands, and so you only need to show them the way to explain why they are banned on the normal world, rather than spending an hour explaining to someone who doesn't want to listen.
  17. Ok, you actually need to leave the IP Address in the server.properties blank, I believe, and if you have the port forwarded from the server computer's internal address (the 192.168.etc... one) in your internet settings, then others should be able to connect using the external address (which you can easily find online) I'm not an expert on servers, but I've managed to get one running in the past.
  18. Read my above post again
  19. This is not a launcher bug, try again in the correct section.
  20. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Werris+Execute+Command+Listener
  21. Make a bug report
  22. Maybe you can find an answer in the sticky, conveniently labeled "COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS"
  23. Wow, this is the first quintuple post I've seen.... Also, sending someone else the .minecraft counts as piracy. Are you using a 1.2.5 version of Mo' Creatures? Though I'm not sure if it was ported to bukkit then.
  24. Well, I wouldn't really want to join you (though I'm sure there are plenty that would), for even on the few tekkit servers I go on, I usually work best alone, however, I can give you a few tips to get started Also, may I say that I'm sorry if my post came across as a bit condescending (which, as I'm reading again, it did) First of all, if you're going to have a multi-server corporation, you'll need a place to communicate. I would suggest setting up a company forums with one of the many free forum hosting websites. Secondly, the way in which you type your words is very important if you want people to take you seriously. Correcting grammar and spelling errors isn't neccesary to convey your information, but each mistake that people notice is a mark against you. Also, you'd be surprised how many more people listen when they read perfect sentences. Lastly, I would like to point out that the only servers that aren't prone to greifers are those only one person plays. All open (and even most whitelisted) servers have trouble with greifers at one point or another.
