  1. What is in your bin folder? you should have a "modpack.jar" with the FML files. Make sure it's actually ".jar" and not ".jar.zip" or something by checking the properties (right-click menu)

  11. Actually, in DD, you can use a rift signature to make a warp door go to somewhere in the same dimension, and there's virtually no loading involved. Yeah, I looked at the modlist (I havn't heard of roots until just now), and I still feel it has a lot of the "mainstream" mods out there, like TC, TE, RP, and so on. However, it does have quite a few I havn't heard of, and looks very nice. But yeah, I'll be making a modpack now, and anyone else is welcome to do so themselves.
  12. You know what, I think I will, though it likely won't be called that. Really, I want to make a modpack that doesn't just throw a bunch of extremely popular and expansive mods together, but one that adds a lot of little details that make the game worth playing for months on end. Besides, the mods in this thread look amazing, and are as good a starting place as any.
  13. On another note, after banging my head against the computer for a week, I have part of a working system! I have four CC programs that are the first functional part of what Nedco will basically run off of. You can find these, as well as Nedco's Constitution, on my pastebin (Edit: fixed link) -Nedcore API: A list of functions that I got sick of rewriting. -LoginSvr: A program that takes in request from a Login Program, and compares them with their Nedco Account information, stored within, giving the clearance to the Login Program's Forward Program. -LoginClt: A Login Program that takes in a username and password (for a Nedco Account), sends it to the LoginSvr, and starts a Forward Program. -PrivDoor: A Forward Program to a Login Program that takes the clearance from the LoginSvr, and opens the door to the owner and anyone with sufficient clearance. Please do tell me what you think and/or any bugs you find!

  15. Ok then, instead of making a ragerantpost about lawsuit, why don't you suggest a fix to the problem? Ever thought that maybe, if what you say actually makes sense, that people will take it seriously?
  16. So, you're saying that the Technic Pack is responsible for allowing people to get the minecraft jar, through no purposeful fault of their own, but google isn't?

  18. I don't think we should disable parts of a mod we add, it seems a bit indecent to have half a mod in the pack. If you really want a fast way to travel, you can just make a rift and plop a warp door down. Besides, I think I'm fine with the mobs that are already added from other mods.
  19. My problem was always the rats that randomly attacked you and took five minutes to kill because they're so hard to hit.
  20. More mobs would be interesting, but don't go too overboard. I always felt Mo'creatures in the older technicpack was a bit much....
  21. Andrew, I would like to request a mod, BiblioCraft. It adds a lot of really nice aesthetics, like shelves, armor stands, and tool racks.
