  1. If you want it that badly, feel free to compile it together yourself. Not only would it satiate your own want for galacticraft + IC2 + whatever else you want, but you could put it on the Platform, and save like-minded people the trouble.
  2. May I point out, nobody's forcing you to play the new Tekkit. If you want IC2, you can stick to Lite/Classic all you want.
  3. Yeah, it's not working for me, either. I would say you could either convince him/her that it's broken, move on to another pack, or make your own. (quite a fun process, if I do say so myself)
  4. IC2 is not going to be included in future Tekkit for a few reasons you could easily find by looking around the forums a bit.
  5. You would have a hard time setting up EU power.... But just use BuidCraft and Thermal Expansion for MJ.
  6. Which pack is it? Maybe someone can confirm this.
  7. Or maybe there's a block that does it, and it requires something as fuel. Make sure it's fairly balanced, though.
  8. Actually, the reason it was removed was specifically because it hasn't updated to 1.5.1 yet, so no. Once it updates, and if it isn't added back in, then you could manually add it if you wanted.
  9. No? It's a BC addon, right? If anything, it would require BC. (which is included) Edit: :ninja:
  10. 1. Find a popular server 2. Join it 3. Ask Questions 4. Resist the temptation to blow them up with your newfound knowledge
  11. You're going to have to do better than that....

    Problem

We don't make fun of other people for not knowing how to do things, we make fun of people who prove that they cannot learn how to do things themselves. If you come with a legitimate issue, and present it in a legitimate way, then someone will help you, no matter how stupid the issue. If you don't, then you are mercilessly ridiculed because it's more fun that way.
  13. Basically, it's anything you would normally add to the minecraft.jar, aside from what was already in there. This is so the technic launcher can verify that you own minecraft before it downloads the minecraft.jar, then compiles the two when you launch it.
  14. Yeah, putting everything in either italics or CAPS is not helpful at all, not even mentioning the severe lack of information you have on your post. In order for anyone to take you seriously, you'll have to include a link to your modpack at the very least, and maybe a list of what you've already tried would be helpful. To show you what I mean, here's a list of things that, discerning from your lack of post, could be wrong. You clicked on "Vanilla" You packaged it weirdly You uploaded it weirdly You made it weirdly It doesn't like you The modpack.jar is secretly a modpack.jar.zip The modpack.jar doesn't exist The modpack.jar doesn't have forge properly installed The modpack.jar isn't in the bin folder You named it "Bin" instead of "bin" You file hosting site doesn't like you You didn't host it anywhere, and tried to upload it the the platform page You zipped a folder with the files, rather than the files alone You didn't actually upload anything Your zipping program doesn't like you You need to turn it off and on again You uploaded the wrong file The Technic Platform doesn't like you You Failed Miserably at something else I haven't mentioned
  15. In any launcher, "Tekkit Classic" is the 1.2.5 version of Tekkit
  16. I would say that, most likely, your friend doesn't see both sides of the story, but here's a basic rundown on the permissions shitfest. 1. The Technicpack is made and becomes increasingly popular, including many people's most favorite mods at a fraction of the difficulty to put together. 2. The modmakers find out about this, and while most are fine, some are significantly less-than-fine with this idea. 3. Stuff happens, words fly about, malicious code is put in, etc... 4. Slowpoke comes out with FTB, striving to get past this by asking permission from all of the modmakers, which inadvertently caused the major part of the shitfest, with people from both sides acting like total idiots. 5. Technic gets permission from all of the modders, and removes all mods without permission, but ignorant people keep fighting about legality over a modified game of blocks. And now, things have (for the most part) cooled down.
  17. Maybe posting a screenshot of what you have will help us deduce what the problem is.
  18. Try going into creative mode and looking under the UE tab, I believe it's there.
  19. What I usually do is look through the modlist, and pick one you like (or at random) and spend time mastering every aspect of it.
  20. Actually, thinking about it, it might have derped because you destroyed it in creative (Not sure of this, just an idea). Try placing a warp/dimensional door on it, then destroy the door in survival. If I'm right, it should leave just black particles that can be removed with a rift remover. Of course, I could be completely and totally wrong about this.
