But it's not in the version of galacticraft currently used by tekkit. If tekkit was already updated to 1.6 you would have a point, but for the moment you're still in the wrong forum. Why don't you try the official galacticraft forum? It took me a whole 30 seconds to find it and I went a round-about way.

As is, lava fabricator to turn MJ into lava. and whatever setup you like to have the turtle get buckets of lava to refuel from. Personally I like a liquid transposer looped with an enderchest, so empty buckets are removed and filled ones put back into the chest. That way a turtle can autonomously place the chest from its inventory, refuel with some buckets as needed, then retrieve the chest and continue what it was doing.

Ask the modpack creator to update the server download. Every custom pack page has a conversation tab. Or do it yourself. If the MC versions are the same it's as simple as replacing the server mods (and coremods if applicable) folder with the one from your client install and removing any strictly UI mods (minimap, damage indicators, ect...). Also, have a bit of patience. I'm surprised you even play a slow game like MC if you can't wait more than a minute before reminding people you need help.

Yes you can do it. MCP can decompile the mods into something readable, though I don't know at the moment. Last time I did it was MC1.2.5 and involved manually merging the mod jar/zip with minecraft.jar then running the decompile/obfuscate batch. This assumes the mod in question doesn't make its source available already. The smart ones do. Despite arguments about copyright and modders wishes at the very least you have the reverse engineering clause of pretty much every copyright law in the world. This states you may take anything apart for purposes of altering your own work to make it compatible. Use some reflection to insert your modified data and you'll have a mod that alters another without redistributing any of their code. Haters couldn't even claim stealing at that point so you know their objections are purely irrational.

As I said, discussion is fine. "I want to know when", "why haven't they told us when?", "can we please get a date?" is not. There is no hexxit for 1.6 yet. The message is part of vanilla minecraft. You cannot amke the launcher load MC1.6 with the hexxit, and it would not work anyway due to the mods all being 1.5.

You've been informed of the correct location. If you refuse to follow the rules then you deserve no help.

Technically I should have issued a warning and shut this thread down already, but I let it go because I didn't see an actual request. You can discuss how the mods are coming, but asking when the pack will be done is off limits.

I don't see anything from powercrystals turning it over to skyboy. Last time he took off and left it to someone else there was an actual handoff. Now that doesn't mean skyboy can't or anything. It just means we have no idea if PC is working on his own 1.6 update in silence and we'll end up with two different versions for 1.6.

Thermal expansion is being launched, not Tekkit. TE was just the last major mod to update, though MFR does not have an official 1.6 update yet either.

https://minecraft.net/ Go there, log in, start up the vanilla game through the official vanilla launcher. If that works, use the EXACT same username and password (type it into a text document and copy/paste into the launcher login boxes to be sure) with the technic launcher. If you ware 100% sure you can login and play normal vanilla through the official launcher but not the technic launcher with the exact same username/pass, then something is stopping the launcher from working. If removing the launcher (inlcuding the \.technic\ folder) and redownloading it doesn't work, then it's your system stopping it. Probably firewall, possibly other software.

If you just play singleplayer then yes, you can gut pretty much any mod you want without problem. Just make sure you don't delete anything that other mods depend on, and if the launcher asks if you want to update tell it no.

Chests? How quaint. Who needs chests when a nice AE system can store thousands of stacks without breaking a sweat?
