Started playing it yesterday. Voice acting sucks, every time your character opens his mouth I think of the protagonist from saints row 3's acting job in gangstas in space. Mission flow has you traveling way too much at a very slow pace. Doesn't help pretty much everything has the same max speed... The grappling hook is nice, but it's hard to use sometimes. Bit too short for my liking anyway. Transition between movement modes (jumping/falling/parachuting/grappling) is awkward. Jump off a slightly too tall platform and suddenly your guy decide's he's a flying squirrel and you end up going way past your landing target.

Check your local classifieds for any school or state auctions, schools are generally legally required to surplus old equipment via auction and advertise for atleast 1-2 weeks. Most government-type places replace their computers every 4 years or so, and generally on a rotating basis to keep their budget level. Find an auction and you should be able to find a cheap monitor.

Stickreed is a mid-tier crop only obtainable through crossbreeding. It looks completely identical to sugarcane up to the final stage, at which point it adds small pockets of sticky resin to the graphic. When fully grown it drops sticky resin. With some more crossbreeding for stats, a single stickreed with 30's for all stats will outproduce a decent sized rubber tree farm.

IC2 crops, crossbreed sugarcane until you get stickreed. With time and a little bit of luck you can get even redstone without breaking a single piece of stone.

No, it doesn't relate. The host you're paying isn't giving you the service they promised, that's between you two and has nothing to do with tekkit. That's like whining at Ford because a cab driver short changed you. If they can't provide you the service you paid for, demand a refund and take your business elsewhere. No one here can do anything about it.

Sorry but I doubt the seed would work the same anymore. The screenshots have been the same since the launcher was introduced, so changes in the minecraft, the mods, and the map format will probably give you a completely different world. One thing you can do though, is use a tekkit server with dynmap and something to pre-generate the chunks. Use a new seed, generate out the world to a decent distance, and look in dynmap for any similar features.
