When I made my platform account I didn't know that it got the skin database information automatically from your username. So because Amaxter is a Steve skin because my IGN is Amaxter325 I end up with a Steve avatar. Is there a way we could change usernames or profile avatars for the platform in the future?

I think he's asking where he can find the old Technic Launcher, the old one that existed before the Platform was introduced. Sorry but you can't as the backend of the platform is now incompatible with many of the old modpacks and launcher itself.

I just tested it right now and it works for me when I redownloaded it. Sorry, not really sure how I can help you. Maybe try using a different computer if you have access to one? Do other modpacks work for you?

That's weird, works for everyone else. Try re-downloading the pack.

Honesty, technic should just include MCPC+ as the default jar. With spigot AND bukkit added to forge it's a lifesaver for performance and plugins.

I think ID fix minus is easier for him, he can even take it out afterwards and the conflict will still be resolved because it edits the configs for you

On my computer and I'm on vacation so when the server crashed I can't put it back up. Can people please not load new chunks as it often crashes the server?

It's a mod that adds HD textures and some other stuff, remove it from the mods folder

Don;t use 1.1.7 that's for 1.6.2, use 1.1.8 for 1.6.4 MC

I'm not familiar with Linux, does the Mint distro have a Web Broswer or GUI for me to install Java and Minecraft?

I'll give it a shot, would a 4 GB Flash drive be enough though?
