  1. Trust me, with the new launcher it does. I made the same mistake as you thinking it would still work and it didn't. It refuses to unarchive the zip unless it is named modpack.zip.
  2. It needs to be named modpack.zip
  3. Is the pack zip named modpack.zip, and what archiving program do you use?
  4. Edit the mod's config files in the configuration folder of your .minecraft installation, use Not Enough Items data dumps to find free IDs to assign. If you do t want to go down that route and want a simpler but less elegant solution then you can always install the IDfix mod.
  5. Reis minimap is currently incompatible with 1.6.4, I recommend using Zan's minimap instead, it works great for me.
  6. That's odd. Increase permgen in your launcher options in the technic folder.
  7. I attended the "Bringing Modding to the Masses" panel and met the Technic and FTB teams and Direwolf20. Also there were free shirts! Pretty badass, anyone else attend?
  8. MaxTech will be down for some time, as we're setting up a Techimon server, which is basically MaxTech with Pixelmon and some RPG mods and slightly less tech mods.

  13. I'm on Mac too, and I can connect to servers. Melanin isn't corrupt, one of the items (universal pipe) is bugged.
  14. I can, and I can assure you it's not Mekanism! I'm not sure why you seem to think so but it's really a connection issue.
  15. Working for everyone else, i'm sorry. I think you just live too far for my crappy connection . We'll try to get a better host once we get some donations.
  16. Update for pack released with a bunch of ID fixes, MystCraft added, some mods updated, and you can now connect to the server! Also Flans mod is re added and Ender Storage and Extra Cells are removed for being unnecessary.

  19. The server is down right now thanks to bloody Mekanism. We are updating the pack with an updated version of Mekansim and fixing all ID conflicts.
  20. Why are you so sure that Mekanism is preventing you from playing?
  21. Ok, so in the next uopdate (hopefully coming later today) we're adding a newer build of Mekanism, hopefully more stable. Also fixing some ID conflicts and updating GalactiCraft. Unfortunately the world is corrupted, so I started a new one. If Mekanism breaks this too, then I can say bye bye Mekansim for a while. Otherwise, it should work (notice how many times I've said that?).
  22. Fudge, Mekanism is corrupting the world again. And the server's crashing every hour or so again. I really don't want to remove Mekanism, but we may have to (for now at least). God, I so feel like just making a Tekkit server and calling it a day!
