Description of Problem:

I hooked up my new nuclear reactor to a "4x ins. HV Cable" im 100% sure that ive done every thing right (i did even go to a youtube video for assistance). I have tried a "Glass Fiber Cable" too. The server and client has been restarted so that isnt the problem.

Does it have an active redstone signal to it anywhere? That'll shut off a reactor.

nope its just the cable touching the reactor.

Yes. It needs to be connected to something to take the power for it to work.

As the moron that im considering myself as now i did put the MFSU in the wrong direction... However the problem

still remains. no power.

How far is your MFSU from the nuclear reactor?

It might just be me, but that cable looks like it's going pretty far, and you're probably suffering a lot of energy loss by the time it reaches the MFSU.

Its 52 blocks. its along way but is it too long?

Yes it was too far away. placed it closer and i am now getting power!

You'd want to use fibre cables because they go a lot farther.

Beware-If you keep it at M1 Glass fibre should be fine, but if the power out is over 512 EU you MUST use HV Cable, Glass will pop

hmm. i tried putting my MSFU about 7 blocks away from the reactor to see if it was the distance.. but i still get no power i have my reactor connected to an HV transformer with HV cable, and then have the transformer connected to to my MSFU with a glass fibre cable. Is my setup inncorrect? D:

it is correct. just make sure that the different side of the transformer is pointing in the direction of the reactor and the different side of the MFSU should be pointing away from the reactor. short: the two different sides should be pointing away from each other. my setup is: 5 Hv cable from the reactor too the HV-transformer (If i should make a mark 2 or above). 1 glass fiber between the HV-transformer and the MFSU. I got about 50 glass fibre cable going out of the MFSU and back to my house.

aaahh man -.- i tested to see if the MSFU was backwards when i had my transformer backwards as well. i had my MSFU backwards afterall lol. Thanks a bunch!
