The Launcher wont Launch

So I haven't used the Launcher in a long time and i went to get on and it wont launch. What happens exactly is I start the launcher it gives some feedback as to I have clicked on it but nothing else happens. I tired reinstalling it but that didn't work. Would be very greatful for some help, Thanks!

Ok i did that now i'm getting an error. That the filename or extension is too long.

I'm having a similar problem, I'm on a mac and everytime I open the Technic Launcher it shows the item bouncing then doesn't appear and closes the icon and I have tried redownloading the launcher 5 times and still nothing works. HELP PLEASE!
