0 TheCombatCA Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Have you tried increasing the RAM that the launcher uses? In order to play big modpacks, you need to have at least 2 - 3 GB of RAM for the launcher to be used. To increase the RAM of your launcher, Go to Launcher Options -> Java Settings -> Memory -> Click the drop-down -> Increase to however many you want Hopefully this helps.
0 Alucard Elric Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I'm having the same problem, It does it with anything that isn't the recommended version. I gave the launcher 4 gigs of ram just to be sure and it still just minimizes the launcher for a second then pops back up. When starting hexxit up normally it closes the launcher, opens the hexxit window along with the FML is setting up your minecraft stuff. This doesn't even try it's a close and reopen type of thing. Nothing other then the launcher ever opens after hitting play. I've been with hexxit for a long time and I recently learned about all the new updates and work being put into it again and I'm dying to try it out but this bug isn't allowing me to do that. Please fix this as fast as you can guys. (if need be I can record a video to show you what's happening.)
