Hi everyone!

 

I started this server with the goal of forming a small community where we choose the mods we want to play with and enjoy building to our heart's content*. I'd eventually like to start large building projects, such as cities, subway systems, et cetera, as well. I can add anti-griefing plugins if need be, but I'd hope the honor system would be enough, with frequent backups in case something does happen.

The modpack's Technic Platform link is here, and the current mod list is there as well.

 

*Please be considerate of others on the server and help keep lag to a minimum.

 

Server rules:

 

    Don't be a jerk. PvP is enabled, however, that doesn't mean kill each other without notice.

    No stealing/griefing. This just creates discontent for everyone, why do it? If you absolutely need something, feel free to ask.

    No hacking.

    Chunk loaders are enabled, but keep them to a minimum.

    No quarries in the Overworld.

    How old are you? I don't care if you're 14 or 40, but it's just to get an idea of the players' ages in the group.

    How experienced are you with modded Minecraft?

    What are you looking for in a server? A great community, I suppose would be the biggest thing. And enough mods to keep me interested, but not too much that it will kill my laptop.

    What would you like to build? Well, if I can run it, I will probably make a series of houses dedicated to different mods, all in different styles. Or maybe, I'll build two and dedicate one to tech and one to magic.

How experienced are you with modded Minecraft?

I used to play a lot of tekkit lite. I'm now just learning some of the newer mods like Mekanism.

What are you looking for in a server? What would you like to build?

I'm looking for a server with certain mods like RF Tools, Mekanism, Buildcraft, Thermal Expansion. But not so many mods that my computer can't handle. Usually 50-100 mods is the maximum.

How much RAM are you allocating to Java to run the modpack?

4 GB, and I'd recommend around 3.5 - 5.

We've made a couple changes to the modpack, having removed some of the bigger mods that we don't often use to help with performance. The pack's at 152 mods now, and we still have 7 slots available.
