Suggestion - Demo mode installation

Didn't realized Minecraft had a demo mode. I was sure there was premium and non-premium (And illegal, but those are still non-premium as they can't use the pack), and that was it.

Edit: Oh good Guthix, there is a demo mode. Still, I don't think they'll add the option since Technic isn't vanilla Minecraft and you're not demo-ing mods but the game itself (Not to mention the possibilities for abuse by pirates. Yarr!).

Demo mode was added in Minecraft 1.3. Tekkit is still on 1.2.5 and won't be updated for quite a while. Once it does, I'm sure demo mode will still be there.

Tekkit is online multiplayer. You need to be ONLINE. Think carefully before you keep pushing this. There's a very special thread that you maybe didn't read.

I said DON'T allow Tekkit if account is offline. I know I need to be online for Tekkit.

Sounds legit to me. Although, running Technic in demo mode for those who haven't bought Minecraft would be fairly cool.

It could help people get hooked and then buy it.

I think he is asking you to disable Tekkit for Demo minecrafters... Which makes no sense anyway.

I still don't know - if he wants demo minecrafters to be able to play Technic in their demo mode (Whatever the hell it may be, I don't know the limitations if any), but not Tekkit, that's reasonable but I don't see the point of it.

Do we even support demo mode or whatever?

I don't think it is supported because of the way the launcher needs to communicate with the Mojang servers.
