Tekkit experience: I know most of the mods, and how they work together. RailCraft and ComputerCraft are both nopes, and redpower is my next-to-master mod! Why you want to join the server: I am looking for a small server, where I can peacefully play Tekkit, and where I know the players. This seems like a good server, because you are picky, so indeed, the "I'm bored ._." players are left out, and the excited players can join! I also love the themed towns idea. Minecraft experience: I have been playing Minecraft since Alpha, and I've have been stuck on vanilla for some time (2 years) until I found how easy it was to install Tekkit, it's all I ever play now. Tekkit experience: I've been playing Tekkit for about 1 month and a half, I know most basic items from IC2 and EE but I haven't expanded on Railcraft, or Redpower much. Why you want to join the server: I'd like to join and see a nice community! Previous servers have banned items, many complications, and other things that are just a pain to deal with. I am good at Minecraft, and I have a very good Vanilla World. Tekkit experience: I started with the Technic Installer, back in the days of 1.8.1, after I finished my Vanilla world. I am relatively skilled in IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, and Equivalent Exchange. Why you want to join the server: I found myself getting griefed a lot on the open servers by the more experienced players, and I would like to find a small and friendly server to get started on. compass72 Posted August 25, 2012 Author Share Posted August 25, 2012 Building Spotlight of the Week NOU Brew (Brewery / Bar) With Tekkit allowing us the ability to brew beer and distill rum, we couldn't pass up the chance to build a factory dedicated to its production. And of course if you have a distillery, why not make the first level a Cheers-type bar with all the cozy comforts like a fireplace and pool table. And most certainly, if the Wookie wants to sample the beer....you let the Wookie sample the beers. Thoughts and comments appreciated. I Love to make Machines and EE contraptions. Minecraft experience: I have been around since the early stages of Beta. I know how to play minecraft as well as the next guy, but that's why I have migrated to Technic/Tekkit. Tekkit experience: I have played a lot of Tekkit for a while and know how to do lots of things. I am a Jack of all Trades, you could say. Why you want to join the server: I have been trying to find a nice server to settle down on with a few friends. I want to become a big name on the server and help everyone on the server in some way or another. Extra Notes: I have two-three other friends that would be willing to join the server with me. They have about the same experience as I do and are still willing to learn more. It would be great if you would add them to the whitelist too. IDED Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 IGN: IDED Age: 27 Project you plan to build: Couldn't honestly say as it would depend on the currently available resources, I like to try and fill niches that havent yet been done but I'm a big fan of cc and redstone :-D Minecraft experience: from alpha to current I've done it all... ok thats a lie I've played since alpha but even in normal mc I still havent got around to potions and getting to the end Tekkit experience: quiet vast now, I've made lagless nuke power plants, quarries, frame lifts, massive fan of microblocks for hiding wiring and adding detail to structures. Something nice and useful, hopefully. Maybe a power plant powering that city you guys were planning or a store selling useful items made via factory in the basement and sold by trade-o-mats, or bartering if I'm there. Minecraft experience: I've been playing since November 2010, Alpha 1.2.6. I'm not the best builder, but I know plenty of stuff and I think I'm fairly efficient. Tekkit experience: I've been playing it since the yogscast spotlighted it and you got it from Minecrafttinkerer's blog. Why you want to join the server: It seems a little like the first server I ever played on, and played until late mid 2011 when it died. A nice, small community, hard to get into (unless you can make a good application) and thus free of griefers. Not to mention that EE is enabled. I'd really like to be a part of the community. Minecraft experience: I've had Minecraft for since I got my new laptop last Christmas, since my old one couldn't run it for some reason, however I have been playing it for well over two years at my friends house. Tekkit experience: Whilst I only got Tekkit recently I have used some of the Mods within the pack individually, the one I use most would be EE. Why you want to join the server I'm so sick of large servers with lists of banned items, it drives me insane. Also your server seems to have a nice community so I imagine griefers are a not a problem which they are for many other small servers, therefore combining the best of both worlds. As well as something using railcraft like massive underground train lines, this is a mod I haven't used in the past and would like to try it out.
