gingaman123 Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Your In Game Name: Gingaman123 Your Age: 21 How often are you planning on playing: i plan on playing as much as i can on this server, tekkit is a lot of fun, and it makes it even better playing with your friends and meeting new people- about an hour to 2 every day For experienced players, the structure you are most proud of building: i am very proud of many of the houses i have built and designed, i am new to tekkit, however have been playing regular minecraft for a long time. i am very good with redstone, so i have made some cool creations with that. tekkit brings out more of the designer in me so i can further make even cooler structures Why do you think Verve is the server for you: i love vanilla tekkit so far, and am sure i will continue loving it even more playing on a server with friends, i love meeting new people and the fact that almost no items are banned. it is a very respectable server with many great people i am sure, and after reading the rules, i very much agree with the "no discrimination rule, i think it is mean and should never happen to people. i like how it is a free server where everyone has a sort of say in what goes on, and there is noone who is cruel. the no pvp rule i like as well, and when you want to pvp you can go to the pvp arena (which looks amazing! Additional comments: i really hope i get accepted to this server, i have not seen one as great as this in a while now. i hope to soon be seeing everyone on the server, and hope to meet new people and build amazing things!!! For everyone, why do you think Verve is the server for you: I'm sick of monster servers with horrific lag, 12 year old admins who only care about malicious power, rampant griefing, and manditory donation structures for most of the items I want to use. I don't need the items that can blow up the world, but I want to use tekkit to it's fullest. And you seem like a pretty tight knit and constructive crew. For everyone, why do you think Verve is the server for you: It seems you guys know what you are doing and it looks really interesting, and i love watching a new community build up from wooden shacks all the way to giant self sustained tree houses. Whether that means for an hour at a time or half the day really depends on what assignments i have at the time. For experienced players, the structure you are most proud of building: My most recent building was a fully automated nether base with unlimited energy reserves and ore processing/gathering system. For everyone, why do you think Verve is the server for you: I've played on servers before only to find that the server either shuts down or becomes incredibly overpopulated and/or laggy. From there I started playing in single player technic for a long while (so i could try out Thaumcraft) and that was fun enough, but not the same. I like playing with other people and seeing what they create so much more. Plus allowing most of tekkit, unlike many other servers, lets players really experience tekkit to its fullest. So I'm here hoping this server will be something special and from the posts I've read it does seem to hold that potential. It was fed by multiple quarries using energy links from solar panels and wind generators and had an underwater living area. Looking to now move into online play to socialize with others while I build. For new players, what are you hoping to achieve on Verve: Looking for a stable server with mature players. A lot of servers I have tried so far crash multiple times an hour. Also looking for a server that doesnt ban 90% of tekkit. For everyone, why do you think Verve is the server for you: This looks like a fairly active community that is only accepting mature (18+) members so I would hope that weeds out a lot of the immaturity you get with none age restricted servers. It also looks fairly new so it should be much easier to find land to actually build on.
