Technical Problems With Windows 10 & mod packs

It started off Normal I wanted to play a new mod pack I believe the name was Blueprints 2 or something a long that name. I started the load up to play it but then I got a message saying I needed a newer version of java specifically the latest version 1.8 (I recently updated to windows 10) I downloaded it and by recommendation I uninstalled the earlier version of java I had the 32 & 64 bit versions of 1.7. I closed the technic launcher and reopened it only to get an error message saying it needs java runtime 1.5.0 (which should still work) I'm starting to get frustrated is there a way to get the launcher to run right o windows 10 and the latest version of java.

Open a command prompt (go to the windows search and type "command") then type "java -version" if it says its not a command then you don't have java correctly installed, if it tells you a version number paste that here and we can troubleshoot from there.

Fixed I just had to redownload java
