technic launcher Launcher Java crash when installing mod packs.

Hey everyone.

So I have this problem when I have my technic launcher open and I start to install a mod pack, about 2 mins later I get a Java crash: "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

I have the exact same issue, identical log too. I did however manage to install vanilla minecraft after repeated attempts, nothing special, just try and try again. My goal is to get Pixelmon downloaded but that's yet to happen after numerous attempts.

Yeah mate same. I eventually got the mods I wanted by just keep trying. I also felt that minimizing the laucher window while downloading / Installing helped a little. I don't know why.

By any chance do either of you have  play.tv and / or raptr installed?

I had both, upon reading your inquiry I uninstalled them and tried again, success! Why in the blue blazes of hell do those programs crash java when downloading modpacks?

Omg thank you so much ive been trying for weeks to fix it, it was caused by my AMD Driver updating and auto installing them
