Yes, it is hard. If I didn't think that DC was a native English speaker, then I probably would have let it go.

However, if you're going to rant about someone not spelling things correctly, and also then make references to the age at which you are taught to spell thing like that, then you probably are a native speaker. DC did, so I made that assumption. It may be that I was completely incorrect in doing so, but that's life.

Incidentally, I have never been so spelling- or grammar-conscious as when I was typing that post.

i am sorry that you people can't wrap you're heads around simple poor spelling and grammar like a normal functioning human, and no this bug has nothing to do with me or how i installed the Yogbox. it is fact that all of the thaumcraft items are not able to be crafted. only the items and not the blocks are in the creative mode GUI. i used all the pack selections, and yes the Technic pack with the cool creeper's TMI GUI dose not work. if you can't just read a bug report and move along like a polite person i will not be polite in return.

That may be, but isn't it simple and easy to use capitalised letters when you start a sentence?

I see you know how the caps button works since you use it when you type things like TMI, so I'm assuming you can also type "I" instead of "i".

I'm not trying to be bitchy here, but using capitalised letters, and also a . to finish a sentence, so we know when a new sentence begins, will make your bug report a lot easier to read, so we can focus on your problem instead of your spelling.

We really DO want to help, but since we put in an effort to help you, we also expect you to put in a little bit of effort if you want us to help you.

If I'm correct, is your problem that you know how to craft things, and that you craft the items in the correct way, but the items aren't crafted nevertheless?

Could you guys please stop ragging on grammar, and try to help the poor guy play the game? That's all (s)he wanted in the first place. Clearly they've put forth some kind of effort, just maybe missed a sticky or something somewhere.

Now, I know that we all love pushing the new guys around, but seriously--it seems like there's now a "ShitMinecraftforumSays"-esque feel here. The point of this pack and the forum in the first place is to be helpful to people who want to play Minecraft the way we think it's meant to be played (while keeping the more inane minecraftforum-style comments out of here), not to make fun of and shun everyone who might not be able to speak English fluently or who may not be totally familiar with how shit works. I realize there are stickies and that the whole point is that you have to do research on your own in order to get any help, but still. Being a hostile environment is no way to win converts from the assholes like FlowerChild and such. This makes us no better than them.

At least include the helpful links in your snarky comebacks, and try to crack a joke, not just cut someone down. I'd really rather that this forum not become what the rest of the "modding community" think it is--a bunch of prima donna asshats.

For me it's not about nagging, because I don't really care that much if someone spells things right or not, but starting and finishing sentences in a distinctive an clear way, makes it easier for us to read and help the person with a problem.

I really want to help, even though I don't know a lot about all these mods yet.

I know it can be difficult on a new forum because there is so much you don't know and you might miss sticky topics about rules and things like that and might not notice several other topics about the same problem you have.

Often I have those same problems, so I won't put people down over that.

It's just that putting in a little effort makes it easier for all of us, the ones who need help and the ones who will help.

So, no need to bash anyone, just be helpful.

Not sure why you'd be having problems with TMI since TMI isn't even in any of the packs at all.

i know the mod doesn't include it. i think its called InvTweaks or something like that. anyways it acts just like the TMI GUI mod. in the tekkit pack with two creepers on its pack logo also has this inventory option and it works but none of the thaumcraft blocks are in that version. each pack has different mods. the tekkit pack with the cool creeper has thaumcraft and the yogbox has it to. the middle one with the two creepers i think has some parts of the mod but not really anything useful.

Now, the TMI-looking thing is, in fact, called NEI, or Not Enough Items (better than TMI, more options, better support, etc. Also not copied from TMI at all). You can get items out of it in SSP by reading a sticky on the subject. InventoryTweaks is a different mod, dealing with chest and player inventories EXCLUSIVELY. It only sorts. That's it. No item hacks.

Thaumcraft is in Technic SSP (single creeper, wears sunglasses because he cries a lot due to lack of friends)

As for the Thaumcraft recipes, a lot of them need to be made in the crucible or whatever, and since (unlike Redpower) Thaumcraft does not have an NEI subset, you can't see any of those special recipes when you push the fancy little "R" key.

well thank for the info but none of thoughs are the problem. i turned cheat mod on. i am also not in smp, i am in ssp only. and the NEI mod Dose let you cheat spawn items in the tekkit pack and has allot of options but again no thaumic craft blocks. and even when i am in creative mode in the technic pack, the one with the cool creeper, i gave myself all the items needed to craft all the thaumic blocks and not a single one worked. i then went back to the yogbox and played for the rest of the day thinking that maybe they would be in that version, but when i finally got all the materials needed to make all the thaumcraft items again not a single one worked at all. it's like the whole and only purpose for the mod even being in here is for its crystals, tools and random runes that it makes scattered about. and no the tools wont craft either.

Hmm. Have you checked anything else? Is there another thread about this issue? If not, consider checking mod versions, the "active mod" list from the button on the launcher, the .techniclauncher/technicssp folder, etc. to make sure that nothing went wrong. Try a delete and re-download of the ~/technicssp folder (back up your world saves!). Try a bunch of stuff, if there's not an existing thread addressing this problem.
