TECHNIC OPENS MINECRAFT VANILLA INSTEAD OF THE MODPACK

so guys i was doing a cool modpack to play with the boys but it doesn't open it ,it just pops the minecraft 1.12.2 vanilla screen 

i did exactly as the tutorials said over and over and nothing changes 

can someone help??

Hello! I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried everything I can think of to get it working, and I've repeated the process countless times today. I'm really at a loss. Only loads vanilla, not even forge.

All the mods show up in the .technic folder, it's all downloaded, yet it's loading Vanilla. Everytime.
I renamed the exact same forge.jar I used to boot it to "modpack.jar," I've also tried downloading a forge-universal.jar (same version) and renaming it "modpack.jar", but to no avail.
It works JUST FINE with curse & ATLauncher. I have no idea what the issue is!

I can't even begin to go into all the things I've tried. It was a full day of trying.
Any help is appreciated, though I've decided in this process to just abandon technic, This will be my last attempt. ATLauncher at least works lol.

Your issue is it being 1.14.4. Technic Launcher does NOT support Forge past 1.13.

Same for me, I got 1 modpack to work then i did the same with other mods and still vaniila minecraft

Had you gone and searched the issue, you would've found so many. With so many of my same answer. You used Forge 2855 universal. Don't. Either use 2855 installer renamed as-is to modpack.jar, or use 2847 universal, renamed to modpack.jar.
