CoolBreeze143 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I was wondering if they were going to make a xbox edition for this? Minecraft was very successful and if money is what they need for this then why dont they make a kickstarter for it? The fans could easily found what ever is needed i would think right?
Roors99 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Minecraft Xbox Edition is not coded in Java, unlike Minecraft PC. So, unless all mod developers were willing to recode their mods in another programming language and Cheapshot & co. were willing to spend the money on verifying it, and Mojang give permission for it to be uploaded to the marketplace, then no, Tekkit will not be going on Xbox.
holymage! Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Dear god. This is getting redundant. its been a while though think the last one was in december or Febuary the short answer is no...they can't
Gennah Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 its been a while though think the last one was in december or Febuary the short answer is no...they can't But take a second to imagine it. . . TEKKIT (Better with Kinect!)
Valkon Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 But take a second to imagine it. . . TEKKIT (Better with Kinect!) A special version of the Kinect sensor, specifically designed for Tekkit, will be available, of course. As a bonus feature, you can even activate GregTech Mode on it. Doing so will cause a telescopic robot arm to come out of a hidden hatch on the sensor, pick up the nearest blunt object, and break your hands and wrists before playing.

The nearest blunt object being the cold, cruel, puppy-hating, non-gay rights supporting, modpack thieving heart o' Kaker that comes free with the sensor, correct?

Stop.
ziberoo Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 On a hypothetical note, I would love to see Slowpoke's face if Tekkit went on xbox.
Deimos56 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 On a hypothetical note, I would love to see Slowpoke's face if Tekkit went on xbox. I think he's recently been on record as being mostly okay with tekkit... so probably not that different from his usual face? Maybe kind of surprised at the idea that a modpack ended up on a console.

lukeb28 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Let us hypothesize how amazing it would be if there was tekkit for X-box.

Does the same go for texture packs?
