DoomGiver32 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 With the recent addition of Extra Utilities to tekkit, I was wondering if adding it into Attack of the B Team was an option you guys could pursue. I know Generikb and the gang are handpicking the mods to be added, but I think something like Extra Utils would be helpful, not just to them, but to the other server owners as well. I could find a few uses for a sound dampener (I'm looking right at you, dragons...). Maybe it's something that could be suggested to the B-Team to see if they approve of it's addition?
cigarjack Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I'd love to see Extra Utilities added, so many handy items in that mod.
DoomGiver32 Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 Does no one else want to see Extra Utils added, or did this thread just get burried without many people seeing it?
Kr0nZ Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 tweet it at genny, I would love for it to be added. I already did it to my pack
exceed55 Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 myea it has so many uses + the ender thermi pump will be lovely ^^ lava power ^^ ghehe now im just really thinking on what kinda of power source is gonna be a steady power suply and make more power rather then losing it but then again the pack is more made for using a lil of the power sources then full out like other packs ...sooo who knows gonna nag my friend to add it to his server xD ghehe more power to the idea
Turgle Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I'd find the mod useful, especially the sound muffler for those dang waterfall noises! XD
Neelfrost Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Extra Utils Ftw. I added the mod to the mod pack, it has some great utility items. It also has nice power generation stuff and some great building blocks
Gr12zly Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I want it added for the liquid/item/energy transportation system
Turgle Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I want it added for the liquid/item/energy transportation system But a Tesseract can do all that, in 1 block, with configuration and everything.
johne16 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I would like it too it adds more helpfull items then technical
wabajck Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 If you can support your case with more then 'it would be cool' that would help your chances of having it added to the pack at some point. Tell us what specifically you think would add to this mod or how it would benefit. Please note that there is already a ton of mods in this pack and bloating it further with 'cool' stuff isn't the best idea.
Neelfrost Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Well, Extra Utils has better liquid storage options i.e Drums which can hold 256000mb of any liquid, and is fairly cheap cost only 19 iron. Has better transportation system for liquids , items and energy. Extra Utils energy pipe has no limit to how much energy it can transfer through a single pipe, whereas TE's energy conduit do i.e 10000 RF/t. It also adds aesthetic blocks, well they can't be compared with chisel's but are cool. It has some great tools too, The Ethenic Sword ( I don't the correct spelling ) Bypasses Armour, The Builder's Wand, A Great Building tool can help to build things fast. Well, thats all I know for know, The mod should be added cause it has some technical, fun stuff.
PhoenixSmith Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 It has a PUMP! Need I say more? Angel blocks are pretty useful for building, also the engines are awesome. (Ender pearls, pink, tnt, nether stars)

If there's items that can do tons better than the top tier of Thermal Expansion for the cost of only 19 iron I doubt that it would be added. It would make it completely redundant to even make the top tier of Thermal Expansion fluid tanks/energy conduits. Also, that sword would be outclassed pretty quickly since we can make Rapiers using TConstruct, which pierce armour and can be modified to get heaps of damage. I like ExtraUtilities but as was stated before, the modpack already has over 100 mods, so bloating it with more things might not be the best idea. And I don't want this to make Thermal Expansion's progression nullified, I get a sense of satisfaction after making the top tier items using that mod.
AlexChip Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Extra Utilities is a needed addition.. Ender pump and Ender quarry, it has minimal lag, so we don't have to only use minions for auto mining (and even those are forbidden on lots of servers..) The Love generator! Works using Pink Dye.. Cmon!! We need that!! etc etc.. there's a ton of stuff that extra utilities have and that would improve aotbt.. Chandelier and Magnum Torch to stop mob spawning in certain areas, very helpful.. using that in every base (in mod packs that include it) Sacred ritual performed to unlock the Division Sigil.. Cursed Earth.. Special new tools.. Rain and sound muffler!!! Blackout curtains..only light proof alternative to a door.. I use those with spawner rooms, or ore berry farms to block out light, but still have a "door" I love that mod so much.. I use it in other mod packs often.. I've sent a tweet to generikb, hope he sees it :-) Edited April 25, 2014 by AlexChip
