Where do we find salt ore?

Me and my family are playing a B-team server but we can't seem to find the salt ore from the food plus mod. so my question is where do we find this ore or have i missed something in the setting's of the server

I have yet to find this ore in my world either, perhaps it would be a good idea for the modpack devs to add it to CoFH

It's an ore that's underground.  I managed to find some the other day so it does exist.

It was either Field or Marsh

Aha, thats probablye why I've never came across any. Im no where near an ocean
