Richs_Yard
Just use ore names already created. Same with crystals. If you can't find one you like, then ask someone AFTER giving them information about the ore/crystal you want to be named.
WreckItGamer
Wo0ps forgot about this thread, college has been storming me with work............ Well I just wanted people just just blurt out anything from metals gemstones crystals to fuels and fantasy and just about any form of miscellaneous types of ore names. I dont want to take existing ore names cause alot of people tend to actually complain or in my experience people complain about that stuff..... Ultimately ill end up spending hours on generators which i kinda dont wanna do so anything is helpfull even a single name with a catch

miniboxer
A good trick is to take some mythos names, for example, greek deities, and see if you can make them names for ores. For example: Hephatite (photetic) - named for greek god of fire, metalworking, and crafts Kreiorite (cray-o-rite) - modified version of Kreios, greek name for Crius, one of the 12 titans. Lethosos
A large number of the more esoteric mineral compounds in the real world have some very interesting names. Go nuts.

Lethosos
I suggest using the names of the Titans, then. Some of the names do lend themselves to metals fairly well. Bianel, for Bia, the Greek Titan of Power?
