Interesting. I don't know if I should start a new thread or just post here, but since we're on the subject: I downloaded both the "151 compat 1.5.2" version as well as the 1.5.1 version. The first one crashed after about 20 log lines complaining about not being able to patch Galacticraft. The 1.5.1 version crashed after three seconds with no errors either in server.log or ForgeModLoader-server-0.log. What am I missing?

Apparently you can use Galacticraft's spaceship to fly around the overworld. It works as expected, however if you break your ship in mid-air, you don't get the launching pads back, which cost 27 iron to make. Am I missing something or is this intended? I don't see the point seeing how it does return the pads when you re-enter the atmosphere of either the overworld or the moon.

I haven't seen this famous closed beta myself, but, if you want planets, use Mystcraft. Pretty much the same concept except you don't get to fly there with a badass rocket.

You just have to delete all your pocket dimensions on server restart. Dimensional doors leading to rifts in worlds other than pocket dimensions work fine. Make sure you tell your players not to build inside pocket dimensions. Sadly it's a choice between that or having plugins. Is MCPC+ a replacement for BukkitForge? I thought BF was the only way to have Bukkit plugins.

Yeahp. That's what I'm getting next. I narrowed my problem down to the plating. I set all the platings to 0 protection and I can fly higher than jungle trees with no problem.

Nope, turns out I'm too heavy. I took off every other piece of armor and I was able to fly just fine. The more I added back, the lower the max altitude. :/

Why are you guys assuming I'm not feeding it power? Battery: (same setting on all four other pieces) Jetpack:

I have third-tier batteries on all five pieces. All the other power-using upgrades work.

I'm stuck. I added the jetpack upgrade to my powersuit chestplate but I cannot figure out how to fly it. Spacebar simply jumps. I disabled the leggings' jump assist upgrade for testing but it still doesn't fly. Do I need to press something to enable it or what? Thanks in advance.

Same problem here. You can still use the new-player (chest) claim feature and then expand it with the shovel as usual (ignoring any errors that show up) but you cannot create new claims.

I saw 30FPS with Optifine, now I'm seeing 130 without it. No wonder it felt slower.

There is both a power bar and a heat bar to the right side of your screen. Mine catches on fire because of the kinetic generator (or whatever the leggings generator is called), so what I did was turn that down a bit. It still happens if I run at max speed for a long time. If you submerge yourself in water, it cools down faster. I don't know if there are any other methods to cool it down or prevent overheating.

I downloaded 1.5.1 HD U D1 and it worked. I ended up uninstalling it because it felt slower, and CC monitors glitch a little. Go figure. Either way, thanks a lot you two.

He's been informing me of the situation all along. He can seem a little immature at times, however I can assure you he's an exceptional at upholding the server morale and rules. I've been practically co-hosting servers with him for little over two years. You have to understand that we have very little control over what players do on the server due to lack of compatible administration plugins as well as the complexity of the modpack, so we have to rely on pretty much trusting players blindly. That's why we expect truthful, complete, and quick answers when we inquire about such things. Either way, feel free to message me on here instead.

I installed Optifine by dragging the files into modpack.jar, just as I did on my Tekkit Lite installation, however it didn't work. It didn't crash, but it didn't show up as installed either. I got version 1.5.1_L_B1. Thanks in advance.

I'm having problems with the whitelist. Apparently it only accepts names in lowercase. I re-added you both - try again and let me know if it works. Approved.
