  1. How much RAM is in the Linux PC? What version of Java are you using? What kind of video hardware does the laptop have? What errors/crashes are you getting?
  2. What would you imagine an error such as this would mean? java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
  3. Use a pastebin service: http://pastebin.com , http://hastebin.com , http://paste.ubuntu.com
  4. Use a pastebin service: http://pastebin.com , http://hastebin.com , http://paste.ubuntu.com
  5. So, again, you have stated that "my pack keeps crashing" but provided no supporting information. No logs, no crash-reports, no detailed explanation about the steps to reproduce the problem. Your pack works fine on my computer. Unless you can provide some compelling reason to continue, I feel that we are done here.
  6. Yes, that is the cause of the crash. In versions before #1164 they had an array indexing issue which resulted in a corrupt item list. The code which sifts through the recipes to display the GUI when you use NEI was failing on that bad index. Version #1164 fixed the problem.
  7. Ahh, yes. That is part of VoxelMenu. They do not distribute the mod directly. You would need to get their modpack, pull out the VoxelMenu files, and then tweak the configs inside the JAR files to adjust things to your liking.
  8. You need to update Biomes O' Plenty.
  9. Client Pack: bspkrsCore, Baubles, Liteloader and MrTJP belong in /mods/1.7.10/ The Advanced Genetics API is only for mod makers and does not belong in a client modpack or server. The AM2 API is only for mod makers and does not belong in a client modpack or server. You should remove the string "(1)" (or any other number surrounded by parenthesis) from the mod filenames. This is added when you download a file with the same name to a folder. The addition of that suffix can cause issues with mods. Your Thaumic Tinkerer mod is fatally out of date and incompatible with the version of Thaumcraft you have installed. All the above changes need to be addressed for both the client and server. Client Only Mods: (must be removed on the server) LiteLoader Damage Indicators All the Litemods Thaumcraft NEI Plugin TiC Tooltips Note that NEI is not on that list. It should be included on the server. Server: The "server-ip" setting in the server.properties file should be blank. 1G of RAM is going to be a little tight for that modpack.
  10. As for the stats, the Launcher information does not get updated as frequently as the website Platform. If the problem has been persisting for days you might need to bring it up in the IRC channel. Concerning the updates, that is because you aren't filling out detailed update information.
  11. For the most part, when a post is made which makes no sense and provides no relevant information it tends to be ignored by most people. Please state your issues clearly and understandably. Please provide relevant information such as which modpack you are referring to and which "GUI" you might be referencing. Be specific.
  12. As I have mentioned before, the liteloader-1.7.10.jar belongs in the /mods/1.7.10/ folder. Your crash report clearly states, right at the top, that you have a duplicate enchantment ID between Thaumic Exploration and Mariculture for ID #77 causing the crash. Are you not looking at your logs? Disable Mariculture, start the pack, dump the enchantment IDs and change the Mariculture enchantment config file to fit into the unused IDs. Your ProjectRed is fatally out of date. Part of the goal here is not to just get your pack working, but for you to pick up on what is being changed and why those changes were required. This requires you to investigate your issues so that you have a better understanding of the process and where to look when things go wrong.
  13. The very first link when you Google search for "random things mod" is the Minecraftforum summary thread for the mod with links for the different versions. Where are you looking? The version of Mariculture you have specifically states that it requires Enchiridion 1.2b (not Enchiridion 2, which ain't the same thing). Make sure you udpate the pack version number if/when you change the modpack archive.
  14. Every person who requests custom modpack assistance, and provides the requesting information, gets assistance. I do a fair amount of it, but there are others around. I've been out of pocket for a couple days. There are lots of resources for successfully creating a pack if you are careful and methodical: Overall Process: http://forums.technicpack.net/topic/103596-still-looking-for-help-building-custom-modpack/#comment-571785 If you've looked around and seen any of my posts, the very first thing I ask for in every case is the API URL or a link to the pack details page of your pack. You have provided neither and the download link you provided does not work.
  15. And as usual, always provide the API URL or a link to the pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance. @The_Doctors_Life: The crash report is often quite handy and provides an easily viewed synopsis of what is in the pack along with the java command line settings. Try allocating more RAM to the Launcher. Many of your mods are out of date with known stability issues. You might go through and update everything.
  16. You need to update Biomes O' Plenty to the latest version.
  17. Always provide the API URL or a link to the pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance. Your modpack is not structured properly. It should contain three folders at the top level of the folder structure inside the modpack archive (i.e. /mods/, /config/, /bin/). The /bin/ folder should only contain the modpack.jar file which is simply the correct Forge universal binary JAR file renamed to modpack.jar. Note that the file name is all lower case. Forge >= 1.6 does not use a coremods folder in any way. All mods belong in or below the /mods/ folder. Remve the string "(1)" (or any other number inside parenthesis) from the mod file names. This can cause issues. Your CodeChicken Core is fatally out of date and your NEI mod is from an illegitimate source. Get the latest 1.7.10 version from the author's website. Your Biomes O' Plenty mod is extremely out of date. Your Chisel mod is extremely out of date. Update to Chisel 2. You have Infernal Mobs for Forge/MC 1.8. You need the 1.7.10 version. Your Nature is out of date. You have Sync mod (from an illegitimate source) but not the required dependency mod iChunUtil. Get the latest versions directly from the author's website. Address these issues and come back if you still have problems.
  18. @Crantus: You are missing the /bin/modpack.jar file. That file should be the Forge universal binary JAR file for your version of MC renamed to modpack.jar in the /bin/ folder. bspkrsCore belongs in /mods/1.7.10/
  19. @Crantus: You are missing the /bin/modpack.jar file. That file should be the Forge universal binary JAR file for your version of MC renamed to modpack.jar in the /bin/ folder. bspkrsCore belongs in /mods/1.7.10/
  20. Your Galacticraft mod file versions don't match. You have a file named "Growthcraft-1.7.10.zip. This file need to be extracted into the /mods/ folder. You have Random Things for Forge/MC 1.8. You need the Forge/MC 1.7.10 version of iChunUtil (4.2.x). You are missing Enchiridion.
  21. Modpack does not exist. Scratch that. Looking at it now.
  22. Why has the pack been remove? The pack link provided in the OP doesn't work anymore. Please provide another pack link.
  23. You would use the LiteLoader installer to extract the LiteLoader mod JAR. Just run it form the command line: java -jar liteloader-installer.jar (or whatever the file name is) The other Voxel stuff would need to be copied from their modpack. They don't distribute it directly. Thaumic Tinkerer: http://jenkins.nekokittygames.com:8080/job/Thaumic Tinkerer/
  24. I've made a my own take on a 1.7.10 B-Team called A-Team's Revenge. It is a bit closer to the original B-Team mod list with only a few "contextually relevant" changes (so, no AE2rv2). I've made the ore generation the same as it was in B-Team by disabling the mod's own oregen and using custom CoFH worldgen. The amount/cluster/etc. of ores and resources is set directly from the B-Team configs. You can check out my CoFH (and other mods) configs for examples if you want. A-Team's Revenge: http://technicpack.net/modpack/a-teams-revenge.625630
  25. I see no errors of any importance in any of the logs you provided. Unfortunately this is something that really needs to be addressed by Enterprise12 as he's the one that will know what the changes happened in the pack and what might cause issues.
