  1. Re: java.lang.NullPointerException - Client Error. ( PLEASE READ !) Here's the odd thing: it looks like you have a couple of quarries, even though you're starting a brand new world. I'd guess you need to remove all traces of tekkit from your drive (except the world or worlds you'd like to try using again, and maybe any config files you have set up) and reinstall.
  2. It doesn't really matter if you ban condensing Condensers, people would just condense other stuff and then turn it into Condensers on a Trans Tablet if they really wanted them that bad. You have to ban Condensers altogether. Also, bumping your own post after an hour is a bit annoying. Try to be a little more patient.
  3. Is the Java bin directory in your system path?
  4. Re: java.lang.NullPointerException - Client Error. ( PLEASE READ !) Post your server log, and client logs if you can get them? Something is clearly causing the error, and we're not telepathic. The NullPointer doesn't even show up in your original log.
  5. Next on your List of Things to Do: learn the difference between "manor" and "manner." :)
  6. Incompatibility is not why Forestry was removed.
  7. I find it...unlikely that Blizzard will ever allow anything they make to be sold on Steam, so if you're waiting for that, I suggest you look elsewhere. :)
  8. Delete and re-download Tekkit - for some reason you don't have one or more of the mods the server does.
  9. This problem is usually caused by a WIYC (Waterfowl In Your Computer) error. You may wish to reinstall Tekkit and/or the launcher, and I would also consider Java 7. Oh, and post an error log (if there is one).
  10. It's not the information so much as the lack thereof. Please post a bug report, with your versions of Java, OS, etc, etc... I'm going to guess just looking at it that you need Java 7.

Why are you running the server in offline mode? It will mean everyone that tries to log in will have the name "Player" - that is, unless you specifically instruct it differently. You'll start losing connections because player names will overwrite each other. Trust me, it doesn't work well.
  12. I keep an alchemical bag full of stuff to use as targets, and I've never had any issues as long as I target something with the same EMC value. The exception is with colored wool, for some reason. Either way, most of the time this isn't at all a problem. If you really want to reset your tablet, just remove all Klein Stars/EMC from it and delete your tablet file.
  13. Anybody know what a formus is? I'm confused...
  14. Re: java.lang.NullPointerException - Client Error. ( PLEASE READ !) Your error log is incomplete. Please post the whole thing.
  15. Right. I didn't actually check to see that AdventureCraft wasn't compatible with other mods. It looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'd want to give up all the other stuff in Technic just to create worlds and such. You can do most of that without a specialized mod.
  16. If you're able to start the launcher manually with the .jar, you shouldn't have any problems picking whatever version you want, although I'd probably delete the old one if you're updating. Versions of Technic/Tekkit don't seem to like overwriting old versions very much most of the time.
  17. Right-click, Run With... > Java.
  18. Just go find the config file. It should be called modloader.cfg, and that's what you are editing anyway. The launcher is just nice enough to open it for you.
  19. I hope you have a backup of your world...
  20. Absolutely. It's also a possibility that I'll win the lottery next Wednesday. By the way, did you notice the suggestion thread?
  21. How many email accounts does this friend have, that you can't just try them all?
  22. The only way I know of to remove a profile is to log in using the launcher after unchecking the 'Remember' box. If there's only a single profile, I think it'll stay there anyway.
  23. This error is typically due to an improper or incomplete installation of the .NET Framework. Try that.
  24. In the Thaumcraft config file is a setting for natural taint (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\config\ThaumCraft2.cfg), 0 is none, 1 is "normal" (few and far between, and not high taint levels), 2 is...bad. I would assume your taint spread wouldn't happen if you set this to 0, until you really tainted a chunk, either with opening the obelisk or by excessive crucible use.
  25. In practice, if you even got close to it, you wouldn't be able to play Minecraft any more.
