You really don't need to quote the whole post just to say that. I fixed it. Anyway, what actual launcher version do either of you have? This error can be caused by having a rather old launcher. I recommend getting a new one, and next time post the actual launcher version number.

The smallish font and formatting leads me to believe that post was from a phone, or an odd browser. I'm guessing it added the links for whatever reason, and I would strongly advise the OP to check into ad-blocking or something to keep it from doing that.

Then I have no idea whether this is a bug, glitch, or normal behavior. To the best of my knowledge, TC2 does not interfere with plant growth at all, nor should any of the other mods in Technic.

How much room are you leaving around the top, and at what height? Jungle trees can have branches as low as maybe 6-8 blocks up, and they won't grow, with or without bone meal, if there's something in the way when they check for space. They'll wait until the next growth cycle, which...may be a while.

I would highly recommend putting this in one of the Tekkit sections, and maybe even using the search bar before you do. There are already at least a couple of threads on server rental recommendations.

Are you sure you've removed all the stuff above where you're trying to get the tree to grow? If you leave leaves in the wrong spot, you may have to wait for them to decay before you can get another one to grow.

Have you tried running the .jar version of the launcher? Vista and the .exe version may not get along well.

Yes, this is the wrong place. Was /reload used on the server at all? That can break crafting, plugins, and more.

Have your friend delete your player.dat file from the server, and give you your stuff back when you log in again. It appears your inventory has something in it that's not supposed to be there.

Then that batch file goes in the same folder. And please stop double-posting - there's an edit button for a reason.

That's what an LP is, whether it's just playing the game for fun, or running a tutorial, it's still an LP. If you'd like to put something else in the Encyclopedia with a link to this thread, telling what each video explains or demonstrates, that would probably be acceptable.

It would appear your inventory, and corresponding player.dat file, has been corrupted somehow. Ask a server admin to delete your player.dat and give you your stuff back when you rejoin.

Post a launcher log, then. Usually it's AVG, but something else may be wrong.

You need a new copy of the launcher. It looks like you haven't updated recently enough to get the little patches for dealing with the MC 1.3 introductions.

Wow. This bug report is horrible. Go install the .NET Framework, and hope it works. If it doesn't, come back with something a little more concrete.

Install/reinstall the .NET Framework from Microsoft. That is usually the cause of this error code.
