Look in the modders section in this forum? Luke has a nice post about this stuff.
-
Hmm, thanks guys. Loop back did cross my mind. Will experiment some with the layout and add more generators.
-
Seems like there was a mod, or machine that would convert the cross ores to ones that would work with them all. Anyone know what I'm trying to think of?

See if any of these help. Tried drawing up a schematic, but just couldn't get it to turn out right. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2H2CVPoRTUdMEZYbjcwMzdnM1U/edit?usp=sharing https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2H2CVPoRTUdVkt2NXh4VjRoLTA/edit?usp=sharing https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2H2CVPoRTUdTDY3Yk14djlUcEk/edit?usp=sharing

I have changed the input/outputs, and I have maxed the In/outs on the Energy Cells as well. I have also run conduits in parallel to eliminate any cap the Cells may impose with the 100 m/j limit. Using a Multimeter the saturation is only at 4-5%, so I can't be capping the conduit out. If I directly connect things to the network, and remove the Energy Cells all together, then the Bio Gens still sit and pulse power and all the stuff hooked up to it flashes on and off... I'm going to draw up a diagram later and post it on how I have everything laid out. I'm thinking the Bio Gen's may be bugged somehow.

1 Unattuned Tess, 4 Chests and 4 Plastic Sheets for 4 DSU = 2 Billion x 4 Storage. That's pretty cheap to me!

I have 15 Bio Generators connected to my energy conduit network with Energy Cells spaced through out, but not In line, to power pretty much everything. My problem is, when I start intensive power drain on my grid, the generators all sit idle and say no energy is requested, however all the energy cells are being drained. Is there some logic in the way the Generators and Energy cells work that I'm not aware of? I've even configured many of my systems to have a backup Energy Cell powering them and a direct line into the the grid. But with an Assembly Table running 12 lasers, 3 quarries and all the machines processing the ores coming in, all my generators are just sitting there hanging out while all my cells get drained until things just stop working. Too much to sum up in a screenshot, but if any further details are needed please ask. I'm just frustrated at this point reconfiguring my power grid and not seeing anything happen. I even placed an empty energy cell directly connected to a Generator, and nothing happened. *yes I made sure the input/outputs were correct on the conduit*

Confusion about luminosity and mob spawning.

Floodlights are handy for high ceilings. I was not aware of F7, all this time playing! -
Yea, I've never seen one. All our shiny metal has come from Ferrous being pulverized and when we get lucky finding some in Dimensional Door chests.

My newest Assembly Chamber has 100 Crafting CPUs and 25 Pattern Providers. Can't wait to power it up! And I was talking about Ceretus Quartz being the bottleneck too. It's really the only resource I have to actively go out and mine outside my Quarries to help keep everything going.
-
My second network I'm working on is massive. 6th quarry now and almost ready to turn it on.
-
Yea I agree Teraku, Certus Quarts is a huge bottleneck.
-
I don't miss IC2 at all, Applied Energetics is the best mod ever when combined with TE machines. No more floors of pipes and engines moving stuff around.
-
Starting off I honestly just found it easier to put a Steam engine directly on each machine with a lever to turn it on as needed until I was able to make 10-12 Energy Conduits. I completely avoid the conductive pipes.

No plugins folder for new 1.0.6 tekkit server
Dewfire replied to Tekkit-FlowCraft's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Once you install MCPC+ and run it once it will create the folder too. -
TreeCapitator not working with Natura trees
Dewfire replied to Scotty Delicious's topic in Hexxit Discussion
I would assume so, and probably not even get the entire tree! Maybe one with Unbreaking IV would have a chance? -
Yea, MCPC+ works very nicely with this version. No issues on my server so far.

Really, how can we top Captain Scar's post and subtle hint on where you should take this thread? Since the hints on the fist page didn't work, here is a direct link: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/hexxit-servers.93/

Newbie quick question for item auto pickup.
Dewfire replied to s3kShUn 61's topic in Tekkit Discussion
I'm kinda with Toki on this one... when you put your mouse over the Meteor armor it clearly says 'Magnetism I' , and he was in Hexxit when it happened... Kinda like going and calling Best Buy because the Lamp you bought from Wal-Mart started to glow when you plugged it in... -
Sludge and sewage can be annoying, and for now the only way to resolve them is to block them off. Gravel and Sand work nicely, worst is when it's down a ways and you come back to find your quarry working feverishly trying to clear the sludge/sewage and not making any progress... Lava is an easy problem to deal with, as weir stated above, simply put water into the quarry.

Yup, what Dash said. Pipe it out using Liquiducts to a composter. Just make sure to put a pipe out of there too, or it will fill up and stop working too.
-
Huh? This a joke?
-
A lot of laptop cpu's will step down if on battery. Also video and system RAM are usually shared so that will cause issues too.
-
Was wondering the same, why two item tesseracts?
-
Glad to know I'm not the only one that's constantly reworking all my stuff Magichize! Most my builds tend to be a mix of AE and Pipes as well.
