My thought on this follows with Toki. You have a Basic Export Bus on one color for Lead, so it keeps 64 lead sitting in the one spot in the Smelter GUI. You then place an ME Interface on the other color, and put in a crafting patter of 2 Obsidian Dust = Harden Glass and you place that in the Interface. Then for the Import Bus you set it on the Orange output on the smelter and it grabs anything the smelter makes and places it back on the network ready to be used. With this, you can request stacks as you need them, or the network can smelt it as needed.

read a couple post on this on the 1st page of this thread. Took both of those steps for my server.

Steve's Carts requires no programming...! More resource intensive thought.

For pistons, since they use wood, you need to make sure you have that wood in your system. Jungle, Oak, Spruce etc, if your pattern was made using Spruce, and you only have Oak, then it won't make it. Same for all other wood items. If anyone knows a way to have it use Wood in general I'd love to know! For things like harden glass you have to create an ME Interface, and place it next to the furnace, you then have an export bus on one side feeding it say Lead and it keeps the lead in the Smelter at 64, then when you request Harden Glass from the system, it feeds in the pulverized Obsidian and out comes the glass. At least that's how I have it set up in my system.

I didn't say, All Chunk Loaders, Crash All Servers. I said, "I had issues with Chunk Loaders crashing my server." Rather then spend my play time digging through logs to find out why, I just choose to use Dim Anchors because they didn't crash my server.

haha, Mining laser to the rescue for all that excess power!

Yea with the pipes I've noticed it only feeds into the side the pipe is on, so if you put a pipe in the top, it only fills the top 3 squares of the reactor, etc. I then have RedNet cable running to all theExport BUS's so with the flip of a lever it feeds all 8 of my reactors to max and then the Liquid Tesseract feeds back to my Generators and Tanks. Where as with the Export BUS it fills all the square, only limit is the number of spots on the BUS is one less then the squares in the reactor. But yea, all my harvesters feed into chests or DSUs. From the chests I just have simple Import BUS's connected, and for the DSU's I have Storage BUS's on them to feed from.

Nice Toki! Fusion is my next big project.

Precision export bus in the bottom of the reactors seems to work perfectly for mine. Have it set to feed when it has a Redstone signal. Can post pics if you'd like.

struggling with steam engines - always breaking down

Are you using buckets to put water in or bottles? 10 seconds? -
Ahh, thanks Toki, I couldn't find anything on the web explaining that! Also, I think now you can make ink buckets? Edit: Can use water buckets to make ink instead. and Actually you combine the page with leather on the crafting grid, not in the book binder for the Unlinked book.

Those are Rifts. Use a rift Closer to get rid of them. Of you can use your Rift blade or Doors to see were they go, right?

Ooo, I like the water idea. Just be sure to equip the water breathing piece to your Suit Helm before bedtime.

Okay, I am completely missing something here... I can't power any of my Atomic Science equipment with Energy Conduits? and I can't charge any of the Batteries for them in the Infuser... All the stuff on the web I've been able to find are for Voltz version and versions with Batboxes and Charging tables in them. Edit: Got it, orientation matters with these!

Sludge mostly is good for filling in with sand or gravel. You can feed sludge into a Sludge Boiler to make Sand, Dirt, Mycleum (sp?), soul sand and Clay, but with no way to really feed it short of buckets from the pool, filling it best. Mid game I had a small system of Energy Conduits linked to an Energy Cell then feeding to my machines, it was powered by a combination of Steam Engines and Magmatics. Setting up a Crucible with a few Magmantics self fed off it, and you drop Netherrack into it is how I kept my lava supply going.

New Technic server looking for builders to make an AMAZING spawn!!!

Is it a Sex toy themed server? -
I loaded 1.1.5 and after some issues, from my first time to manually update a server I'm sure, I got it working. Only issues I've seen and not sure if I just messed something up or what, is that Mystcraft I am unable to craft or even view recipes to create the linking books. Also, when I move between Myst ages, I seems to fall through the world for a few seconds before everything syncs up? One last thing, all my platforms in my Myst ages seem to spawn 40-50 above ground. Otherwise, the Uranininte Ore spawning was the only issue I've had to fix so far, thanks to the posters on the first page editing the config files.

Too bad, my achievements get reset randomly on my games... Gotta love logging in after playing for a month with the whole, Taking Inventory Achievement!

*Facepalm* okay, yea good point.

I use panels to cover all my pipes, works just fine for all of them.

Once you play with the new machines and mods, you won't miss RP or IC2. I don't miss them at all at this point.

Thanks for the math, I removed some of the redundancy I had in place and I doubled the number of Generators. Now everything seems to be working better! I guess I had the image of the generators backwards Toki, I thought if they showed fire they were generating power, not storing it. I think the multimeter is bugged or the Gens are in how they report, because while I'm sucking all my power out, they report to the multimeter that no power is requested!

Tesseracts can transport Items, Energy and Liquids. I'm with Toki on this one.

Awesome thanks Dash! I knew there was the machine, but wasn't aware of the book hah!
