Energy Tess is the way to go honestly. I had 4 quarries all set up from one spot running off one Energy Tess from my main base, with an Item Tess feeding all the stuff back to my base. Massive amounts of resources in coming! I of course use BioFuel to run everything now, but before I was using a mix of Steam and Magmatics all feeding into Energy Conduits.

Well I played single player for about 30 minutes last night and encountered what behaved like a server lag spike. Was chopping a tree and nothing happening after block was destroyed, ran off and rubber banded back. So something is going on, was in survival and no plugins etc. All other Technic packs are fine.

Don't think biofuel can be used in rockets. Have to refine oil for that.

I still had issues with just the two pipes. Liquiducts work better with that?

Get a liquid sorter. Its the liquid meat and pink slime in the pipe. But only one will go into the tank.

Emeralds are really the only rare thing, and once you find a village that will trade you for them, then even those aren't rare. After one Dense Ore world in Mystcraft everything else is common, even diamonds. We have 1000s of diamonds, and 5-6k of all the others except Ferrous. But even that one, we have a few hundred Invar ingots.

MCPC+ is what I use on my server.

Just make a Deep Storage Unit (DSU) for anything you aren't going to use at that time. I use mine to make lots of Charcoal, and Obsidian. Also, who knows when I may want to build a massive log house in the future. best things about DSU's in no power needed, easily moved with contents and practically unlimited storage. But in my setup I simply have an Oak Farm and Spruce farm and I have more Bio Fuel then I can burn with 8 Generators.

Spoiled by nightvision now.... Once you get 1 elite battery and get a 5m charge, you dont worry about suit power for days.

Could always carry a ME drive with you with your stuff and access it at any ME chest.

This got me, check the arrow direction on the redstone conduits. If pointed the wrong way causes all sorts of issues.
