I think it's actually forge that limits the number of force-loaded chunks. Beyond that individual mods can also limit the number of chunks their specific chunkloaders can load. Looking in chicken chunks, it looks like default is 5000 chunks per player for tekkit. Immibis dimensional anchors can also have limits set, but default seems to be unlimited.

its also a possibility that some chunkloaders only keep chunks loaded if their owner is online, for servers at least. You could try setting owner to server if that's an option.

I think wrenching only turns engines if there is something next to them that can accept their power, which in tekkit is only BC machines.

Thermal expansion machines do not accept MJs(buildcraft power). They only accept rf. Try using a dynamo instead. They are basically the TE version of BC engines.

Are you talking about WAILA? If so, numpad 0 is the default in game key to access WAILA config, where you can turn it off.

Resonants are 10k per face. And redstone conduits arent on a per connection basis. A conduit can have no more than 10k rf in it at a time, so its max throughput is 10k rf/tick, no matter how many connections it has.

He could actually craft the stuff, but the recipes didn't register in his NEI or crafting grid, I'd show him the recipe then he would set it up, and click the empty output slot. He could still make the stuff, he just had to do it blind.

You can delete specific region files from your save, forcing the areas to be regenerated again after fixing your configs. The downside is that region files cover a lot of area, so you might end up deleting parts of your base. There are tools to find what region file specific chunks are in. Allso to note: any time there is an update modified configs get reset to tekkit defaults.

Smelting iron ingots again should yield artifice steel. Unless im thinking of a different modpack.

If you have a fusion reactor going make a mining crawler and stick it in the nether. Use rim, terrain smashers, and mining wells. Mine out entire chunks quickly. Profit.

There is likely no point in not draining water from the turbines since they run on heated liquids.

I run my client at 5gb of ram and in a lan world with 1 other person it still lags sometime. Also some things are morr resource intensive than others, such as world gen and ME networks.

I'd prefer if you double the tv offer. I'd look into doing this but i tend to have more trouble finding blizzes than I do finding lava for obsidian lol
