Good rule of thumb for fertilizer. It if requires the planter, it will use fertilizer. So cactus, pumpkins, and melons will not use fertilizer. Sugar cane might accept it, I have not tested this though. There is no way to use sugar cane for biofuel though...

particle accelerator just makes anti-matter. It requires empty cells to hold the antimatter.

Never did figure out where the rockets were going... Have you tried carrying a rocket with you to your station and flying it back? Worth a shot anyways. Might be the trick to fix the issue. Or might just waste another rocket... Not sure. I'm guessing the issue is the rockets get stuck in limbo between dimensions. So when you fly another rocket to your station, the one you are in also gets stuck in the queue where you select were you want to go.

Something bugs out when you accidentally exit the rocket mid flight... Had that happen to me going to the moon. Landed on the moon and had no rocket to return home with. I too had accidentally exited my rocket after launch and watched it fly off on its own. This was just before the trip to the moon where the rocket wasn't in the lander's inventory...

Gotta love the look of those animal pens. Great thinking with the use of the conveyers to keep the animals inside the pen. Makes it look much cleaner then just having them laying flat.

I found that out by using creative mode and looking through the individual mod tabs. Can also use the Item Subset Tab at the top center of the NEI screen to filter by mod. Otherwise ask here. Lots of helpful people on the forums. :)

Either your connection got hyjacked when trying to connect to technicpack or your antivirus, like mine, thinks the launcher and packs are some type of trojan(over zealous security software) when they are not. Was the site link simply technicpack.net? If not, the hyjacked connection seems the most likely.

8888/8889 are from thermal expansion. 5807/5811 are from buildcraft and/or it's addons. Basically, the thermal expansion ones are redundant when buildcraft additional pipes is installed.

Prototype958 is correct about deuterium. And yes, the fulmination generator works. But not really sure if it is worth the cost of materials needed to generate power using it. Unless you already have an easy way to mass produce explosives... Then, by all means. It can be quite the quick way to generate power. The particle accelerator makes antimatter. Yes. Antimatter has a large explosive yield. But there is something to do with using antimatter and the particle accelerator to make strange matter. It is also not very well documented. I have not seen a reliable way to do this. But anyways, the strange matter can be used with an atomic assembler to make anything. Kind of like UU matter, but has many more things it can make. Also, antimatter in a fulmination chamber can yield a huge amount of energy. But you'll want a chamber that is a hollow box of at least 7x7x7 in dimensions to take advantage of the yield of antimatter. Also remember to have a single layer of water inside your fulmination chamber or it will be blown to the great beyond.

Think it only spreads out 1 block from the reactor. So 3x3. I may be wrong though. Documentation is sparse.

From what I have read, you need to go one level of water shallower still...

Hay, at least it WAS something easy. *Thumbs up* I was going way off in the wrong direction, wasn't I...

Another thing that changed is how Power suits handle visual changes. The addon that changes the look of the powersuit is no longer used. Instead, they use a seperate interface that allows you to tweek the looks of the armor. if you have those addon's installed, remove them before switching versions.

Alright, it was worth a shot anyways... Another thing you could try. Pick up parts of your base's machinery and store them. I'd try the mfr stuff, like harvesters, for starters. Place them in a chest and put them back where they go once you get the server running again. I'll look at your videos again and think if anything else might be causing an issue due to design changes between versions.

I wonder... did your world on 1.0.6 have any sewage and sludge lakes? 1.1.5 seems to have a lot of them by default. You might want to try playing with the config, before starting it, and turn off the lake generation. It is in the mine factory reloaded, common config, in the powercrystals folder. About half way down. This is the line: # Whether or not to generate MFR lakes during map generation B:WorldGen.MFRLakes=true Change the true to false to turn them off. Might be trying to generate the lakes and causing some issues due to that. Worth a shot at least... other things that could be causing it: Minecraft changes to 1.5.2, a transparency fix was removed from forge to free up memory, and several api's were removed due to redundancy.

1.1.5 Is out there. It is stable, and only a few people have issues with it. Most of those are STILL complaining about it not having IC2, more so then actually having problems. You'd have to select it as a manual build if you want to try it out. Only little bug I've seen is with the fission reactor not wanting to work. Fusion works fine though. Edit: Sorry, correct that, fusion works, fission is bugged-ish. Keep getting the two mixed up.

Oh. Thanks for that info Karaktar. From what I had read and seen it looked like the symbols in the books would be lost as well. That assumption was wrong. But at least it still clears up the memory for him. No worries Dewfire.

How to disable certain parts of the power gauntlet??
jakalth replied to Erik Mancha's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Lux is not harmful per say... But someone could use that module to cover an area in the lux light sources, visually ruining what the other person was/is trying to make. That is what the OP is talking about. -
As I said... I did not say the books would be lost. Just the data dealing with the age they link to.
-
If you delete a mystcraft dimension, you will remove all the info associated with it. Any Mystcraft books in the overworld, associated with that dimension, will also loose their link and all symbols in them. So do not delete any you are currently using, like a mining age. Removing the rest will free up some space and help the game run slightly smoother. It will also reset the books to create a new random age next time they are used.
-
Known issue for Mystcraft. Shift clicking items in and out of a Lecturn is buggy at the moment. They have it fixed, as far as can be seen, in the newest version. But that version is not in Tekkit yet.

Try both, and pick your flavor. Chunk loaders are nicer to look at, animations and such. Dimensional anchors are easier to blend into your surroundings.
-
Heh, NOW I see what you were talking about there Toki. A flood type reactor. Looks pretty good like that. Probably higher output then my design when run for long durations. Lots more surface area there as well. That should be fun to play with.

LOL *What happened here? Did your water pipe break?* *Na, it's one of those newfangled indoor pools. Comes with a free water bed.* I might actually use that to be honest. heh Nothing like a nice cool refreshing drowning... I mean dip when you first wake up. Sadly, cats don't seem to like water... Oh well, their loss. Actually there IS another benefit. If a creeper gets in the house, and I have at least 1 block deep of water, they won't destroy anything important due to the water effect on explosives. In theory anyways.
-
Well, don't want to use a rift remover. Currently turning the area into an endermen farm. And moving would break the farm idea since they would stop spawning if I got too far away, even with a chunk loader/dimensional anchor. Hmmm. Maybe an iron golem inside my house? Any other ideas?
