method 1: starting out find leather to make a back pack, once you have that raid a tower (at your own risk). collect string to make big backpacks and repeat. build up gear and items to start a sentimental and done. method 2: starting out find gravel and sand and make a smelter. find iron and make steel, make a steel pick to mine nether ore. make a manyullyn rapier and raid towers and people.

go to options at the main menu... video settings and set open GL on and the performance from balanced to max FPS

are you using open GL? try changing your graphic settings before you start going ingame

what you are saying is confusing because it really doesnt make sense in that way you are asking for help. if you put the ore into the smelter controller it will turn to liquid and sink to the bottom of the smelter will do nothing at all yes you have to cast ingots or blocks before you can use the next "layer" of smelted ore

you cant "drain" them you have to manually do it by poring it into a cast or basin. E: alternatively you can destroy the mulitblock and it will delete the "liquid" inside

you are having a crash at start up, try reinstalling java and the game. if its not enough you may not have enough ram to run it. click the gear and set the amount of ram higher then what is selected.

ideally you want 16+ but I ran a vanilla with 8g and it worked fine, though hexxit is far from vanilla I'd suggest 1-2 people 4+ 3-5 people 8+ 10-20 people 16+ 20-100 people 32+

you have to put the metal into the smelter controller not into it, try putting a smelter controller into the multi block and try again. let me know what happends

I'm not sure what happened but it may be saved as world.dat in the world folder, try take it out and runing the .bat then puting the .dat back into the world folder. try that out and let me know if it worked

Think its time for me to back away slowly and let the kid-I mean men handle this. The point of my post was never attacking any one people or even a group of people yet this spiraled into what I can only equate to as a scummy 4chan topic. sorry to those that wanted to discuss the topic at hand, sorry to people that got butthurt over my opinion and to every one else I'm not going to be replying to this virtual boxing rink. aside from the random banter about "you said, he said" I can tell that there is more to this then people see, maybe I didn't explain myself, maybe I said something that hurt some one feels but in the end it was not a swing at the Technic guys or the respective work ethic. This is my opinion" I see that people want me to "accept its a good mod" but really I love the open world idea that was hexxit and I like the idea of mad science but B-team fell short of that goal when I got bord so I took to the forums to see if others felt the same. Like I said before "if you have an opinion people will hate you for it". though people may not like it, my OP was genuine and real, I meant what I said and I stick by it. If people could take a moment and reread the OP and try and look for the sincerity in what I was saying then I'd be more then happy to revisit the post with my complaints and solutions but as it stand I feel that if I say any thing against the beliefs of the people here I will be hated on. If you want your koolaid then drink it, if you want my opinion then read it, if you want my suggestions then ask for it, if you don't like what I say then don't post about it, I don't want you to support a thread that was not tailored to you.

If you at any point feel you need to argue with me just send me a PM and I will foreword it to my trash to save people the effort of reading your continuous spew of insults and hate on a simple discussion. for the record I do not see B-team as a failure nor a complete waste, flop or a mod pack that should not be played. i do not like some features I do not like the bug/crashing, I do not like the balancing, I do however like the mad science that this mod has to offer but it need a lot of TLC and its not going to get it if no one says any thing.

Thank you :3 Totally agree OP: What I'm trying to say is there are mods in here that together make no sense but alone or with something like tekkit would be a great addition. I feel is this mod pack is its more of a showcase rather then a standalone mod and admittedly has game braking glitches however it didn't effect the core gameplay. and B-team is on its 2nd one week after launch soon to be 3rd because of the "start up crash". BF4 was playable just bad and I used it as a comparison because I know the technic team are fantastic mod creators and I was outraged by the sloppyness. if we set higher standards for them they will try better, hell EA didn't do jack about BF3's net-code then BF4 had the same issue until people lost there shit did they say they'd fix it. I did cover that in a later post I will now quote I never called the technic team "bad" I simply said "I feel that the preparation and well thought out process for making B-Team was less then ideal" of course talking about the fact they let an inexperienced youtubers pick mods to going into a pack together that clearly had unbalanceses that they didn't even attempt to fix until after launch added for luls this post game me cancer.

because it was patched, if no patches where needed then we would not have this problem

I was not comparing hexxit to B-team, I was talking about there production and the way the content was packaged. Brigadon I will not at any time claim that the guys that MADE the hexxit pack didn't know what they were doing, or didn't think things through. Obviously, they put out a pack that some (admittedly munchkin) players really enjoy. It was a professionally-done pack, and after a LOT of iterations it is in a really great balanced state... if you enjoy that sort of thing. while detailing what YOU see to be an egregious flaw, and why, in hopes of improving things is NOT what you did... you just told the developers off, called them incompetent to design a pack, and implied that they never thought the pack through. there are issues with the collaboration of mods that should have been ironed out at the start of release. If we allow content to come out and be acceptable in an imbalanced and bugged state then every game will end up being like Battle field 4 launch. Brigadon There are ALWAYS unintended loopholes when you build a mod pack. that's why some of the most popular have gone through dozens of iterations, and in fact THIS particular pack is ALSO going through those same iterations as well. They should have been fixed to start with, not released then patched. if you have ever been to MPGH and looked at a mod section they don't have "weapon skin v3.6.4" its released when its finished and if its drastically changed its something else, we don't half make something and release it expecting to patch it out later. I was simply voicing my opinion and there is no reason to tell me off. I feel like there was a lot that could be done but as the admin said This mod pack was a pet project for 2 guys that play together, not a grand community of towny folk and adventures like myself. I was simply disappointed in how it works and the experience (or lack of) I got from this mod pack. and to reply to "play another pack" I did say in the OP "I more then most likely will only see these mods as an addition rather then playing that mod pack again" id est I'm not playing this mod pack again

invest in more ram.... no? upgrade to 64bit
